Trump supporters arrested bringing guns to No Kings rally

I just report what I read. Are the articles all lying?

Please explain, in your own words, how a trade surplus benefits the United States. (Hint: it doesn’t. It’s meaningless.)

Trump's World (Trump News & Discussion Thread)

My understanding is that the part of the White House he is destroying is not historic so I don’t really give a damn. On the scale of things to care about this is pretty low. A few days ago Trump tried to lecture cattle ranchers about how much the tariffs were helping them: https://www.oklahomafarmreport.com/okfr/2025/10/22/president-trump-lectures-cattle-producers-as-he-again-calls-for-cheaper-beef-prices-for-consumers/ He is truly awful.

Fetterman defends Trump's 'tasteful' $200M White House ballroom makeover

In 20 years from now when President Mamdami adds a mosque to the east wing, you guys will be OK with it right? So long as it came from private funds?

    Here come the tariffs

Yes. It is a VERY good idea if it is tied to securing first time home mortgages, which was the proposal under Biden that Republicans rejected. It would have been similar to the GI Bill after World War II, and create a new class of homebuyers which would in turn create an economic boom. Yes it’s an excellent idea and we can still do it. Not sure how it relates to the tariffs though.
  6. I think you missed the main point. I’m giving MAGA (not righties, I still make that distinction if others won’t) a hard time because they viciously attacked Fetterman for illness, which is something that they do. Now I viciously attacked ‘MTG for anti-Semitic rhetoric and extremism but that’s different, that’s based on policy not one one’s mental or physical condition. As far as a deep blue lens goes I’ve honestly never had one until now. And it’s only temporary because I don’t feel comfortable with it. I remain a moderate and I oppose ideas that are too leftist. Nonetheless I support Mamdami, and Crockett, and AOC and all the rest because “all hands on deck.” Call it TDS if you want but I truly truly believe that Donald Trump and the MAGA movement is an existential threat to almost everything I love about this country, and the only way to fight it, peacefully (I reject fighting it any other way) is Democrats winning, winning everywhere, winning in every race, winning as much as possible until this blight has been eradicated. Once that happens maybe I can go back to being a centrist again and vote for Republicans and Democrats alike.
  7. The first part for sure. They’re simply not agreeing to the continual resolution. They don’t like what’s in it.

Trump demands $230 million of our money

What was Donald Trump indicted for in 2023? 1. He paid off a woman he had sex with, using campaign funds, to hide that infidelity from the public in order not to lose votes. 2. He tried to coerce the Georgia Secretary of State to find additional votes for him so as to change the results of the 2020 election. 3. He convinced a mob of supporters to invade the U.S. Capitol building and interrupt the democratic transfer of government, and they violently attacked the police and threatened members of Congress and the Vice President, and Trump not only took no action to stop it, he encouraged it and tried to use it to hopefully remain in power. 4. He took thousands of classified documents home with him and despite several requests refused to give them up, lied about his possession of them, and may have shown them to unauthorized people. All of these are SERIOUS crimes. He may very well be innocent of some or all of them (outside of #1, he was already found guilty by a jury.) He is after all, like anyone else, entitled to his day in court. But on most of these there never was a day in court, he simply delayed and delayed until he got elected again. None of this was lawfare and he doesn’t deserve a single penny.

Trump demands $230 million of our money

Bullsh!t. There was no lawfare. He deserved to be indicted and he still deserves to be tried for his crimes.
  10. Marjorie said some true things for once and deserves praise for that. Fetterman isn’t saying anything especially true here. And I wasn’t referring to legitimate concerns about his health prior to the election. I was referring to the incredibly rude comments made about him.
  11. Love how when Fetterman was running for office MAGA attacked him for being mentally deficient, using about the cruelest and most distasteful rhetoric I can ever recall even in this Trump era. Now that he’s shown himself to criticize his own party, suddenly the guys a genius. They can’t stop quoting him.
  12. Interesting take. Have you seen his picture?
  13. So because I wrote his first name wrong, that’s your response. No rebuttal to the main point which is that once again your argument was completely flawed. This is why nobody takes you seriously.
  14. I expect them mostly to be silent about it now. This incident will be quickly forgotten.

Trump demands $230 million of our money

Once Trump is awarded the money he can put out a special coin to commemorate the occasion.
  16. Democrats are, to my surprise, winning this battle. On November 1st the new ACA premiums will lock into place. At that point Republicans may want to surrender. If they don’t it’s only going to get worse for them.
  17. He was MAGA: https://meidasnews.com/news/atlanta-airport-suspect-was-longtime-trump-supporter-who-defended-confederate-flag Because of course he was.
  18. Hey I appreciate the concern. I think I’ll be fine though.

Dealer hit on 17 last night, pulled a 3

I never know when to split. I always get it wrong. Probably why I’m a lousy gambler.
  20. What the hell are you talking about? Of course they accosted people. That’s why they were arrested. You should stop focusing on my veracity (which is in this case and most cases, top notch and NEVER deliberately misleading or dishonest) and focus on your own ideas and people you support. If you defend Nazis OR Donald Trump OR ICE at the time in our history, you’re acting immorally and you will be ashamed of it later on.
  21. There are plenty of articles about the Neo Nazis in HB , don’t take my word for it. Here’s one: https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-09-17/la-me-charlie-kirk-huntington-beach-white-hate
  22. I’ve always had the theory that violence comes equally from both sides but I’m really starting to wonder. After Kirk was shot the rally in my area at the Huntington Beach Pier attracted a bunch of Neo Nazi skinheads who blamed Jews and black people for Kirk’s murder. They started attacking people walking by. Meanwhile the same Huntington Beach Pier had the No Kings Rally Saturday which I attended- no violence, no hateful rhetoric, everyone was warm and friendly. Anecodtal but these various incidents tell me that my friend @EternalShinyAndChrome is 100% wrong: both the hateful rhetoric and violence these days seems to mostly come from one side- and it’s not the liberal side.
