It was never Republicans even if it does turn out to be related to these far-right idiots. Nick Fuentes is not a Republican.

He may be a leftist, we don’t know yet. He may be a far right extremist. But I’m 100% positive he is not a liberal. That’s a moderate ideology which does not allow for political violence of any kind. (Conservatives used to be the same, then unfortunately Donald Trump came along and changed that.)

What does “celebration” mean? Seems like that word is being awfully stretched at the moment. And what does news reporting have to do with the editorial page?

Anyhow apparently some of the bullets had “groyper” terminology on them, whatever that means. And we know that Nick Fuentes hated Charlie Kirk for, among other things, his support for Israel. So this whole affair may be something completely different than what most people have been speculating…. or not. I make no claims to knowledge one way or another.

It’s seriously the best we have. The Trump government consistently lies. That includes the Justice Department, the FBI, and most of all Trump himself. Fox News and the conservative media make up crap all the time. The internet, as we can see in this thread alone, is laced with hateful fantasies. For all its flaws the mainstream media is all that’s left. It’s the last barrier we have from an entirely fictional world.

I’m hearing this morning that this might be a complete red herring. Sounds like this might have more to do with “groypers”. Who knows? One thing I am sure of: we can’t trust Kash Patel.

I removed the word “liberal”. I don’t know if the killer was leftist or not- he may have been influenced by someone like Nick Fuentes or Laura Loomer, both of whom savaged Kirk in recent days. Or he may have been leftist- one thing I am sure of is he was NOT a liberal. 99% sure he acted alone.

My predetermined opinion that most American Muslims are normal people and not threats to the rest of us? What should I use if not anecdotal evidence? Do you want statistics? I can offer that as well. Will it do any good?

Have you ever been to a mosque? I was at one last month for an event. Do you know what they did after the service? Had tea and cookies. Just like church and Temple. Seriously these are normal people. I’m not trying to be a jerk here or troll or anything. But I just wish some of you could realize that there are real people here who have done no wrong who could be badly hurt by this constant hateful rhetoric.

The culture is fine. Every time there is an event like this I have close Muslim friends who cringe in fear about what the reaction will be and if they will face persecution. That is not hyperbole. They really are afraid. I’m talking about families here, including young children. You’re not helping.

Hey @Cdub100. This Jew agrees with you. How about that? With one caveat which is the same caveat I used with the left when they instituted cancel culture: private companies should be able to do what they want, fire whomever they want. That is, in effect, free speech as well.

At this time the only news that’s been confirmed is that he’s gay. Thats all. If it turns out he’s trans and fully transitioned, I will call this person a she (or a they if that is preferred, whatever that person wants) AS SHOULD YOU AND EVERYONE. Respect.
