Trump wins Iowa. So much for the Des Moines register. Ted Cruz wins. This looks to be a great night for Republicans.

It is looking good for him at the moment. She’s just not getting the numbers in Lackawanna or Philadelphia that she needs. Still a lot of counting in Philadelphia though.

Yeah but also reminds me of 2020. Right about this time of night I was pretty down. But about 3 hours later things got better. So we’ll see.

I don’t like what Im seeing. Just being honest. I think you Trump fans should feel pretty good right about now.

My predictions are all still solid at this moment- I’ve got Trump winning North Carolina and Georgia and that seems more likely than not. But overall Trump is doing slightly better than I hoped he would so right now overall things look promising for him.

The immediate call of Florida for Trump is surprising and very good news for him, obviously. News from Georgia is more mixed.

In 2009 abortion wasn’t a “wedge issue”; it was a constitutional right. It wasn’t codified because Democrats didn’t believe back then that Roe would be overturned. They didn’t think that Republicans, knowing how most of the nation felt, knowing that overturning Roe might destroy the GOP for decades, would ever be STUPID enough to give in to the extremists on the right who wanted the Supreme Court stacked with extremist ideologues so that they could rid of it. They were wrong. Republicans were stupid enough to do this, and now they will pay the price. Not just tonight but in many more elections to come.

I think you should run for office on this platform. Oh wait- Republicans do.

I don’t think anyone who thinks Trump will win is a moron. It’s a 50/50 race.

In all of human history we’ve only had this for a very brief time. We take it for granted. Whatever the result I wish everyone well. It’s been fun arguing/ discussing this stuff with you all.

I think your source is a little dated. Virginia, New Hampshire, and Minnesota are NOT battleground states. Iowa is. Florida, Texas and Ohio may be much closer than expected. HTH
