Actually that ending scene got a few chuckles. What made us laugh hysterically were a couple of other scenes: Trump with Satan, Jesus at the assembly, the AI conversation etc. overall the whole thing was very very funny.

It’s too easy because you’re just wrong. Not in your facts but in your assumptions about them. Again, the tarrifs will raise prices on these cars as well, because all sorts of additional costs go up. I referred to a few of the major ones (transportation, storage) before but there are lots of little ones as well. You know Tony I actually think you know all this. You play the selfish jerk around here but you’re not a stupid guy. I think you’re quite aware of how terrible these tarrifs are but you’re not willing to acknowledge it because it’s more fun to troll the libs. Just a hunch.

Basically what a tariff is is Marxism: the state is taking an active role in business, applying a tax in order to try and push business in a certain way. It’s the same principle as minimum wage, or rent control, or price controls. It doesn’t work, it can’t work. In a large economy such as ours you don’t always see the bad effects right away but eventually you always do because economic principles don’t lie.

Because despite the cars being manufactured here many Ford parts are made in other countries: Asia, Canada, Mexico. You’re also ignoring another rule of tariffs: as they go up on imported products, the price of domestic products go up as well. There are lots of reasons for this. Shipping costs go up, transportation, storage. This is all economics 101.

I watched with my entire family. None of us could stop laughing. So yes.

With a high tariff on imports, they will not be able to make them at prices that consumers can afford.

It absolutely is. Do the math. 20-30% tax, GM refuses to pass it on to customers, GM takes a loss. This isn’t rocket science.

Again, extremely similar to the Warsaw Ghetto. I see that at least one person responded to my post by laughing. What exactly is amusing about millions of people facing starvation? What sort of person are you that laughs at that?

I was just listening to an interview with someone from Doctors Without Borders who is in Gaza. According to her, there is no food in fhe center of town for millions of people. There are refugee centers with food (many of which the USA is paying for) but they are restricted to outskirts of the city and if Palestinians approach them the IDF opens fire. According to her there is a clear purpose here to try and shrink the Palestinian population by having as many of them starve as possible. She used the word genocide. Perhaps she is lying. The Israel government denies all this. But this woman is one of thousands of volunteers and reporters telling the same story. It is hard to believe that they are all making it up. To me this is incredibly tragic especially because I have read so many accounts of the Warsaw Ghetto, which this mirrors, in Léon Uris’ novel Exodus he tells the story of the Warsaw Ghetto and uses it as justification for the establishment of the modern state of Israel. And now they are doing this to other people? I’m sure some of you will come up with a justification, I can’t.

Politically paralyzed the remainder of his term, huge Democratic gains in 2026 followed by a Democratic President in 2028 and the undoing of just about all of the changes that Trump has instituted.

My own guess? Theres no evidence of criminal wrongdoing here. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Trump had sex with some teenagers that Epstein provided, but there will never be proof of it. What there IS, I think, is some stuff out there that is embarrassing to Trump. He was closer to Epstein than he wants to acknowledge. So he’s desperately trying to cover it up. And it’s the coverup that’s getting him into big trouble.

If Biden was part of the cover up, investigate him too. But he’s gone and the current President is, apparently, engaged in a cover-up. And you seem to be defending him.

Actually I’m sort of hoping that if the DOJ is stupid enough to indict Obama he won’t even try to rely on immunity. It would be such a garbage prosecution just play it out.
