Yes. I haven’t heard of any significant changes.

Part of the agreement is that: 1. Hamas would disarm 2. Hamas would have no administrative control of Gaza. (That would fall to an international commission led by Tony Blair for the immediate future.) But if Hamas is seizing control and executing collaborators isn’t this already a violation of the agreement? In less than 24 hours.

Look no matter what happens after this, Trump got the remaining hostages freed. That’s a big win. Nothing can take away from that, it’s a win forever in the history books. But as far as a lasting peace I was actually quite optimistic based on the terms of the agreement. I thought I saw possibilities for the future. I was especially intrigued by Lindsay Graham’s idea, which I heard the time yesterday, of a Palestine governed by the UAE rather than as an independent state. But it’s not starting off well.

Well not anytime soon. Not according to the agreement just signed.

There’s already some very disturbing news coming out of Gaza. I thought that part of the agreement was that Hamas was no longer going to be in control of Gaza. But apparently they have not only seized control they are in the process of executing anyone suspected of being a “collaborator” (e.g. all opposition.) The killings have begun. This ain’t good. I’m not seeing a good ending here. And I think that, as much gratitude as Trump deserves, he should pause before throwing out the “mission accomplished” banner….

With regard to her prosecution of Trump’s company- at first I thought it was bogus and I said so at the time. I’ve been in commercial real estate my whole life and I know it’s common practice to overvalue property when you try for a loan, and undervalue the same property when you pay taxes. It’s done all the time and picking on one company seemed wrong to me, and very political. But that was before I learned the details. Even for an industry not known for ethical behavior, what Trump did was really egregious. Outright lying and cheating on a really incredible level. So now I think yeah they deserved to be prosecuted. And that’s not even getting into what they pulled with the charity, somebody really ought to go to jail for that, probably Donald himself.

That was really stupid too. They did that only to try and show conservatives how even handed they were. Conservatives were too far gone to accept that message or otherwise didn’t care. Trump makes NO attempt to show how even handed he is, he’s never bothered, never will.

Not crying but I was and am concerned. Because Trump continues to believe, against all evidence, that tariffs are a good thing. If our only protection against that belief is the instability of the stock market that’s not a good thing.

Even if she’s guilty, which I doubt, it’s the sort of sh!t you get a $500 fine for. I mean are we serious with this crap?

I know it’s boring but probably Pat Mahomes again. I think Danny Dimes might deserve some love too.

I don’t want to take anything away from President Trump (this really is a tremendous achievement) but comparisons to Cyrus are just a bit over the top. If Cyrus had freed 20 Jews only it wouldn’t have been exactly noteworthy.

Never. We should fine them. And they should never be given the ability to become full citizens with the right to vote (their children can). But they should be allowed to stay.
