The vast majority of Gen Z folks support that and they’re the ones taking over shortly. I’m not really in favor because it’s too late- too many in circulation. But it will happen. Universal background checks will happen too, followed by national red flag laws and ultimately universal gun registration. All those I AM in favor of.

Gun control doesn’t work locally and only minimally works even on a state level. Federal laws are the only ones that would have a real effect.

The capital gains tax is pretty mild. Trump lowered it to 20%; Kamala wants it back up to 28%. Biden proposed 36%. Also no price controls. She wants specific penalties for gouging, not the same thing. None of this is socialist in the least or even particularly progressive.

Trump wants tax cuts for corporations and more taxes on consumers. His proposals will lead to a collapse of the economy. So I have no idea what you’re talking about.

Kamala with a very interesting tax break for small businesses proposal. I like the idea a lot but even if you don’t , calling her a socialist really makes no sense.

Eventually there’s going to be a ban on assault style weapons. Too many folks in favor.

It’s a dumb question. Biden is old and tired but his mental abilities are all there. He’s been one of the most effective Presidents in decades and will continue to serve until this January. It’s silly to even ask this.

What’s this now? Every small business in California knows the $300 figure; so you don’t have to fill out a W-9. Undocumented immigrants don’t benefit MY bottom line so much as they benefit this entire nation’s bottom line.

Yes. I have never hired anyone to avoid paying taxes. I have never paid an undocumented inmigrant more than $300 for a service which is perfectly legal under California independent contractor law. And YOU are the one being delusional. Maybe you’ve never personally hired an undocumented immigrant (.doubtful) but every time you buy produce at a supermarket, every time you go out to dinner at a restaurant, you reap the benefits of their presence. And I could list a hundred other ways you benefit economically by their being here.

Yep it’s still legal to use that term. But it’s socially impolite and it’s not woke. We are trying to move forward to a more civilized society. Hopefully you’ll try to be better.
