Forget about it. It’s Biden vs Trump. That’s it.

The cold is a bad excuse. It’s not a cold that has Biden constantly saying “and by the way”, “the idea!” And “that’s number 1” On the other hand Trump makes so much crap up, lies so often it’s impossible to keep up. And he’s such a moron.

No it means plenty. It won’t help Biden. If he loses this will be the biggest reason.

Biden is not leaving the race. This is the choice. Biden is, overall, not having a good night. He looks old and tired. He’ll get destroyed over the Medicare comment. It ain’t good. He’s has a few bright spots but it ain’t good. But I still think he will win because Trump is simply too scary for most Americans. In the end they won’t vote for him. I’m not as sure as I was before tonight but that’s what I think.

I am going to try and go back to sleep so no promises. It’s news that Melania is keeping her distance IMO. Amsterdam is beautiful- the downtown anyway. The canals actually remind me more of the Riverwalk in San Antonio than Venice. But of course the buildings are totally different. Most of them were built around 1900- guide was telling me that although Rotterdam ( the port) was completely destroyed, the city itself avoided major damage because they surrendered quickly in 1940 and then the Nazis surrendered quickly in 1945. So nothing had to be rebuilt and it’s gorgeous.

Just a point on this: Van Jones is a political pundit . CNN has both liberal and conservative political pundits- MSNBC only has liberal, Fox only conservative. Which is why, IMO, CNN is the most neutral of the 3 (though as a liberal myself I prefer MSNBC.) But Tapper and Bash don’t fall into this category at all. They’re journalists.

Hey everybody. Posting from Amsterdam because…I can’t sleep. I honestly wasn’t going to stay up to watch this; figured I’d read about it tomorrow. And I gotta be up in a just a few hours so I was really hoping to get some sleep. But the jet lag gets me every time. The first few days on one of these trips I will fall asleep like normal…and then 2-3 hours later I wake up and I‘m wide awake, nothing to be done. So I guess I’m watching after all.

Sorry but I’m not going to let you get away with this lie. Trump called undocumented immigrants “vermin” and said they were “poisoning the blood of our country”. That was language copied directly from Adolf Hitler and Tapper pointed that out. As a journalist he was absolutely correct to do so, it would have been irresponsible of him not to. He wasn’t comparing Trump to Hitler, he was comparing the language. Now YOU can fock off.

His reasons were sound but thankfully Trump had guardrails in place. He won’t this time. I will be shutting it. Off to Europe!

Oh somebody is responsible all right. That somebody is Trump for instructing Republicans to kill Lankford’s immigration deal that would have given us border security finally. He ordered it killed so that he could use the issue in the election. It’s also quite bigoted to blame the actions of a tiny handful of bad people on millions of undocumented immigrants, the vast majority of who commit no violent crimes whatsoever. But you and your buddies keep doing this. I don’t know whether you’re just ignorant, or stupid, or hateful, or lazy, or a little of each. Whatever the reason it’s repugnant.
