The Real timschochet

This is a serious post so I’ll respond to it in a serious manner. It’s not liberals, or Democrats, who are attempting to normalize what was previously believed to be a mental illness. It’s the doctors. The AMA. The majority of doctors around the world, and psychiatrists and people who have spent their whole lives learning about and dealing with mental illness. They’re the ones who say that this isn’t that. We, the liberals listen to them. We, the liberals, listen to the doctors and the scientists. When they tell us climate change is a serious issue that needs to be addressed, we pay attention. When they say that everyone should take the Covid vaccine to avoid losing millions of lives, we do it. When did trusting science become a liberal thing? I have no idea. I’m not smarter than you are, I don’t think I’m better than you are. But I trust a mechanic to fix my car. I trust a pilot to land the plane I’m on. And I trust doctors.

Yeah I know. We’re shoving it down your throat. We’re giving it to you in the butt. You’re so terrified, it’s pathetic. And of course your biggest fear is that you might enjoy it.

Dude, nearly 100% of the threads about trannies are started by conservatives. I think you used the word “butthurt” because it’s on your mind.

Here’s how I would describe it: 1. 80% trolls obsessed with trannies and fake pedophilia. 2. 18% well meaning conservatives who know the difference between right and wrong but unwilling to admit that they screwed up about Trump. 3. 2% liberal heroes and Never Trump patriots fighting the good fight and trying to save this great country of ours.

One of the more dangerous lies because it minimizes Trump inspired right wing violence, which, as all the recent death threats have demonstrated, is a major threat to our society, and unparalleled by the other side.

Never. It’s a falsehood. Sometimes they’re good anyhow because they can grow the economy. Sometimes they’re worth doing. But they NEVER reduce the debt.

She was opposed to the Bush tax cuts and the Trump tax cuts and you know that has a whole lot to do with it.

I think she may be remembered as our greatest Speaker of the House. Certainly the most effective in modern times. Very fond of her.

Interesting question. I would say no. A cynic along the lines of HL Mencken or George Carlin. But Lehrer’s focus was on politics and social issues. Taylor Swift writes and sings almost solely about personal relationships.

You’re right Trump has never said conservatives are not wanted here. He has told dark skin people born here to go back to where they came from. He has promised to deport millions of people. He has said he doesn’t want anyone from a sh!thole country. He has enouraged his fans to beat up liberals, encouraged police to beat up whoever they don’t like, continually warned of violence and threatened violence, said in response to the 2020 riots “when the looting starts the shooting starts”, encouraged January 6 rioting, etc. But never got in the face of conservatives and said they were unwelcome. I’ll give you that.

I’ve always suspected that Trump doesn’t particularly care about this issue (or any issue for that matter) that all his anti-immigration stuff is just for show. He says it because he thinks it makes him more popular with the base. And of course he’s right. Unfortunately it doesn’t matter because Trump has surrounded himself with people who really do care about this issue (like Stephen Miller.) One of many reasons why his re-election is unacceptable to me.

I don’t hate Maxine. I don’t hate Trump either. I think they’re both awful people and I despise them but I try not to have a lot of hate in my heart. Neither one is Hitler. There is something to like about both of them (not much.) As far as Maxine calling for violence, I’m not going to parse words with you. Like Trump she has been careful to ride the edge, to call for it without actually calling for it. But in both cases I think I’m interpreting them correctly.

So you can’t name a single “anti-conservative” song. So when you wrote “she’s written several” you were full of sh!t as usual. Making up crap seems to be your role around here.

None of those people you’ve been quoting have called for violence with the exception of Maxine who is a terrible person. And she’s not a Presidential candidate. Rather than trying to challenge me (which you will never succeed at) just own your own embarrassment. You are supporting a guy who calls for violence. You are going to vote for him for President. This is a stain you will never live down.
