First off we need to acknowledge that it’s not fake. Rational people already do. Second, my own solution is not especially popular with the green crowd. My solution is two fold: First, I agree with @supermike80 that we need to adapt to the situation at hand. But this will require a great deal of government planning and spending. We need to quadruple FEMA’s budget or more (Trump wants to cut it.) We need to set up new agencies designed to cope with emergencies before they occur. And we need to strongly consider the logic of trying to rebuild coastal cities that are eventually doomed when the waters rise. And we may need to guarantee insurance companies otherwise very soon home insurance will be impossible to afford. Second, and more importantly, I believe we need to pour trillions of dollars, whatever it costs, into developing nuclear fusion as quickly as possible. We need to commit to a Manhattan Project like effort, or the space program. Nothing else comes close to importance. I don’t understand why we haven’t done this already.

Trump still ahead by a few points, within the margin of error, in most of the swing states, and obviously that is more important than the overall popular vote. Still even those numbers have tightened since the conviction. I am NOT predicting a Biden win- not yet. But about a month ago I wrote here that the odds had to favor Trump. Now I think it’s about even.

Obviously the latest Fox poll is really good news for Biden. Hopefully it’s just the beginning.
