There is no magical formula to lowering inflation. Trump is offering one “drill drill drill” but almost all economists point out that this won’t make any difference at all. On the other hand, Trump’s tariffs will have the opposite effect of increasing prices on everything. Not to mention his catastrophic mass deportation proposal which would devastate our economy. Simply put, if Kamala Harris is elected and does absolutely nothing with regard to the economy and inflation, she would still be an improvement on Trump’s ideas. But she won’t do absolutely nothing because her plan, stated continually though not yet on her website, is to continue to rebuild and improve our infrastructure in order to grow the economy. (It would help if she also lowered our existing tariffs on China.)

No it isn’t. That’s my point. It’s a big part of it because we SHOULD fear Trump. But Kamala Harris moved this from being the main element of the campaign, as it was under Biden, to being secondary to optimism about the future. Her central message is that America is not the dark place that Trump keeps telling us it is. Violent crime is not at the level the MAGA folks claim. We don’t need to fear undocumented immigrants, or the imminent collapse of the economy, or world war 3, or transgenders. We don’t need to fear at all. (To quote FDR, the only thing to fear is fear itself.) Kamala has discovered the secret sauce to finally destroying the awfulness of Donald Trump: joy and optimism in our future.

1. Our funding is definitely helping Ukraine fight Russia. 2. If Russia swallows Ukraine they will be, eventually, much more powerful than they are now. But if they attack a NATO country then I think they would lose. But I also think the whole world would suffer. I think it might lead to a nuclear war. I don’t want to see it! I don’t want to come close to seeing it! Why can’t you understand that by stopping Russia now we are saving ourselves from that possible catastrophe? I simply don’t get how people like you can be so blind about this.

I guess I am. I still don’t understand what any of this is about. Is he accusing the Harris campaign of spending money on social media? Why wouldn’t they? I don’t get what the accusation is.

You’ve posted this a dozen times or so in the last two days. I’m glad I lost all those bets here. I never expected Biden to quit, never expected Kamala Harris to be this great a candidate. I’m done betting money; now I just want to see what happens. I think that, in November. I will be very happy with the results.

Not if they lose. And hopefully they will lose. This latest counterattack seems pretty brilliant to me. It may have tremendous consequences. Ukraine was getting beat everywhere and now this. Reminds me a bit of the Tet Offensive.

I don’t go on TikTok. It’s true I see them as an important barometer of youth. But I only know about it second hand. I’m highly skeptical that’s Trump is more popular than Kamala on TikTok.

We do. But Biden’s campaign was focused on that. Harris isn’t. Thats a big reason why she’s doing so much better I think. She’s running on joy.

Your post here is one of the main reasons why Harris will win. Because she is running on optimism and you guys are running on fear. “America cannot fall to the pedophiles and illegal immigrants”; etc.
