OK let’s put aside your second paragraph because we obviously see the world very differently and we will never agree on that. Let’s go back to your first paragraph: this is more of an objective question. You were not impressed by her speeches so far, but I think you would agree that you’re not the target audience. The target audience is independents and her base. I would say that her base has been electrified by her speeches and whatever they thought of her before, they love her and embrace her now. I would argue that independents like what they hear so far and are open to her candidacy while still ultimately undecided. Would you agree with these two assertions?

No, just racist and fascist and criminal. Also, as I’ve pointed out before, Trump is far more Marxist than most Democrats. His proposals are anti-capitalism to the nth degree.

Never said they were wrong. They have a formula and it’s very accurate. Let’s see what the odds are in 3 weeks, in a month, and on the eve of the election. If they’re the same as now then I’ll agree that Trump will likely win, obviously. But I think they will change.

She’s backed down from both positions and even if she hadn’t there’s no way she could get either through Congress even with Democratic majorities. There are so many things that excite me about her campaign that it would take too long to list them here. But of course the very top of the list has not changed: Kamala’s victory means Donald Trump loses. I don’t hate Trump, but I believe several of his policies, which he WILL have the power to pursue if elected, will be terrible for this country.

The neat thing about this short election cycle is that we will very quickly know which of us is right about this. In terms of one of your predictions (popular support), we will know in a few weeks or less how much she truly has. If I turn out to be wrong about this I will come here and admit it. Hope you’ll do the same.

Talk about whatever you want. All I wrote is that I personally have no interest in defending every action good or bad. I’m not going to spend the next few months doing it. Boring and a waste of time.
