Several folks interviewed at the RNC seem happy that Biden has Covid- classy people. Also does anyone remember when Trump had Covid in 2020 he went to the debate anyhow? Trump has done so many awful things in the last several years it’s hard to remember them all. Remember that Herman Cain died because Trump insisted on a super spreader Covid event?

Because they were willing to disgrace and dishonor themselves, their careers, their families, and the history of the Secret Service. This is a great example why most conspiracy theories are so incredibly stupid.

All of the folks you named hosted opinion shows. CNN’s opinion shows, like MSNBC, tended to lean left. But the news reporting has always been fair and opjective. Jake Tapper has been the same dude for years. Fox News is also to be trusted in terms of news reporting. But not the opinion shows.

I felt for Vance’s personal story and was proud of his mother who is ten years sober. Something I can directly relate to as people who have read my posts in the past might know. I still think JD Vance has terrible ideas for this country. But I may have been wrong about my initial impression of him as a bad guy.

Biden and his people believe that once he is locked in as the candidate this will change, and the public will vote for him in preference to Trump. They might very well be right about that but it’s a big gamble. I go back and forth on whether or not Biden will end up leaving the race. I was convinced this morning that he wouldn’t but the Schiff statement really surprises me, because Schiff is an insider. Is Pelosi next? Or Obama?

I actually think the better news for others is pretty meaningless. When a person actually becomes a candidate the polling tends to completely change. But I do agree that what is needed to win this election for the Democrats is Trump vs Not Trump. Right now it’s Biden vs Not Biden, and that’s not working (for now at least.)

No, if you got a therapist to help your son deal with the reality of your split from your wife, that wouldn’t be abuse. If however you forced your son to undergo therapy to try and convince him that you really didn’t split from your wife, that would be abuse. And that’s exactly what you’d be trying to get your son to do in the scenario you described- accept an unreality. Here is the disconnect between what you believe and what medical experts tell us: nobody can talk your son into becoming trans. If your son is trans, nobody can talk your son out of it. Any attempt to do so is a form of abuse.

No it doesn’t. They are reversing the correlation. It is the gay and trans that creates the abuse. The abuse comes less from inside factors such as the specific personality of the parents, and much more from outside factors like the conservative antagonism towards gay and trans, the belief in the face of all evidence that trans is a mental disorder, etc.

The abuse comes from parents reacting to the news that the kid might be gay or trans.

And if you force him to do this, that’s a form of abuse.

Personally I have no problem with Trump saying he was nicked by a bullet, and with him wearing a bandage. I have a lot of problems with Trump but people complaining about this stuff are being stupid IMO.
