Well first off I disagree with you. And I would argue that YOU have prospered under Biden. To answer you regarding this time around: if I prosper due to his proposed tax cuts and economic changes I will acknowledge that. I always do. Economic matters are simply a difference of opinion and I will always try to be fair. On the other hand, if we have mass deportations, abandon Ukraine and NATO, turn our back on the world, balk at our last chance to combat climate change- if these things happen it won’t matter to me how much I might personally benefit in the short term (though I doubt I will.)

On the other hand, maybe the loser is the guy who spends his time commenting on every post I make.

Nah I’ve been pretty consistent on this. I don’t want Trump as President, I think it it will be a catastrophe, much worse than last time, a real threat to our democracy. But we’ll get through it.

Hey everybody. Finally slept for a while and had some time to think about this a little more. 1. We’ll see what the polls say but Biden is obviously in big trouble. 2. I really don’t think he’s going to quit. And until and unless he does, nobody is going to force him out. Speculation is fun but ultimately pointless. Until we hear differently Biden is the guy. 3. Which means Trump is more likely than not to be President. But nothing is for sure. My team is down by 2 touchdowns and we got a QB who can’t move and has just thrown a pick 6. And it’s the middle of the 4th quarter. And he’s not coming out of the game. But it’s still not over. Who knows how this end? (Forgive my football analogy; I fully understand that this is NOT a game.) 4. If Trump is elected it will be bad. He will be awful. But the country isn’t ending; it won’t be the last election. And half this nation is opposed to him and we’re not going anywhere. Who knows? Maybe ultimately it will be a good thing because he will be so awful that we may get a permanent rejection of many of his ideas. But all the same I’d rather not. 5. Wishing everyone well here while I’m on vacation. The more I visit the beautiful places in this world the more I think that we spend way too much time fighting over minor squabbles. Sure we have some significant differences, and we’ll work them out on most issues we have a lot more in common. What a marvelous world and way of life the west and capitalism has created. America and much of Western Europe, like the country I’m visiting, is truly a paradise of prosperity and happiness. I don’t think it’s going anywhere.

No. They’re not. Most reporters didn’t believe that Biden was this bad. I didn’t either. I still don’t think he has any kind of dementia. Just old and a lot slower. We were wrong. But it wasn’t intentional.

They keep talking about the next debate. But if the polls result in what I anticipate then why would Trump agree to a second debate? I wouldn’t.

You won’t hear from me for a while after tonight. I’m supposed to be on vacation and I need a break from this. And I need some sleep.

For those of you who keep saying that’s the end for Biden, hes gone, etc- it’s not impossible (nothing is these days) but logistically it’s extremely unlikely that Biden will leave the race.

Well the state of the race has changed in the last two hours. I wrote earlier that I still think Biden will win. Upon reflection that sure seems like wishful thinking. The odds have to favor Trump at this point. I don’t think Biden had any intention of quitting although he should. I hope for the best. Doesn’t look good at the moment.

After tonight I would like to see Biden quit (even though I will lose plenty of money- remember my bets on this? No worries I will cover them all.) But I would like him to quit. I just don’t think he will.

Forget about it. It’s Biden vs Trump. That’s it.

The cold is a bad excuse. It’s not a cold that has Biden constantly saying “and by the way”, “the idea!” And “that’s number 1” On the other hand Trump makes so much crap up, lies so often it’s impossible to keep up. And he’s such a moron.

No it means plenty. It won’t help Biden. If he loses this will be the biggest reason.

Biden is not leaving the race. This is the choice. Biden is, overall, not having a good night. He looks old and tired. He’ll get destroyed over the Medicare comment. It ain’t good. He’s has a few bright spots but it ain’t good. But I still think he will win because Trump is simply too scary for most Americans. In the end they won’t vote for him. I’m not as sure as I was before tonight but that’s what I think.

He’s not doomed. He’s not having a good night so far. But he’s starting to do a little better. Hopefully he can get it together.

Everything that Biden is saying is right. And Trump is telling lie after lie. But Trump has way more energy so I fear he’s winning.
