There is no definition of “invasion” that would include the entrance of undocumented immigrants into the United States. None. It’s both equally stupid, lazy and hateful to use that word to describe this situation and you define yourself as a xenophobic idiot when you do. Congrats.

Why are you defending such a racist post? I don’t think you are a racist yourself (CDub clearly is) but I don’t understand your need to defend them.

The responses to my post last night were predictable but sad. In response: 1. All acts of violence are terrible and should be punished. Any undocumented immigrant caught committing a violent crime should be punished and then immediately deported, no questions asked. No amnesty program should ever include such a person. 2. Attacks against law enforcement are especially vile. I don’t care if it’s a riot, or a peaceful protest that turns into a riot, or this situation. It’s never acceptable. 3. The vast majority of undocumented immigrants are not violent. They do not deserve to get grouped in with those that are. That is my objection to the posts here. When you group people together in such a manner you are engaging in ignorance and bigotry. It’s not acceptable.

This makes no sense. Trump’s order to kill Solemani was a bigger act of war than anything Biden has done. So were the sanctions.

We needed to punish the perpetrators of these attacks without getting ourselves into a war with Iran. Thats why we had to telegraph what we’re doing. I don’t think Biden has made any real mistakes here.

Of course. We have a military presence in the Middle East in order to ensure the smooth production and flow of the world’s petroleum supply. This flow is vital to our economy because oil is a globally traded commodity: even if 100% of the oil that we use in the United States came from sources other than the Middle East, we would still be dramatically affected, negatively, by any cut in Middle East oil. The only way to change this is to move the world off oil by finding a viable alternative. If we can do that we can eliminate any need for a military presence. But we can never not be involved due the threat and/or presence of nuclear weapons.

This post demonstrates that racism is not just an important part of our history; it’s still around.

The voters that count (in the swing states) are going to elect Biden and Democrats. Mainly because they are better on the issues they care most about. And because Republicans have gone off the deep end. A blue wave is coming.

They certainly do seem to be obsessed about me given the amount of posts I read that mention my name. It’s a little unnerving.

All you guys do is post ugly anecdotes of the tiny minority of undocumented immigrants who commit violence. The vast majority do not but you ignore that. It’s hateful stuff. And it’s not going to change anything. You hate these people and don’t want them here. We get it. Xenophobia is ignorant and awful, maybe someday you’ll grow up and get over it.

We never planned on a knockout blow; we don’t want one. And Wicker is playing politics.

We telegraph the attacks because we don’t want them to lead to a war. The fact that you don’t get that makes YOU the joke, not the administration.

I do? Don’t recall using that term. Trump is populist and nationalist and xenophobic among other things. This is the direction the conservative movement has moved in recent decades.

The fact that you guys think that Biden is supportive of the far left agenda says a lot more about you than it does about him. The only perspective that would make Biden a leftist is from somebody on the far right.

There is no crumbling case in Georgia. Fani Willis’ relationship with a prosecutor has nothing to do with guilt or innocence of Trump. Even if Willis had to recuse herself (highly doubtful) the trial would go on. And the evidence against Trump here is very strong.

No. I don’t agree with him politically but that would never cause me to dislike somebody. It’s his personal life which @The Psychic Observer documented. Truly an awful guy.

They don’t have to beg and she doesn’t need to be manipulated. Swift is a patriot who truly cares about the issues and this country and doesn’t want to see Trump back in the White House.

It’s the same country. It isn’t changed.

Oh it will happen. Trump is very unlikely to win the election, and if he doesn’t he’s going to be convicted on several of these counts and end up in jail. Even if Trump somehow wins he’ll be convicted in Georgia and probably these cases will continue once he’s served his term. So while this might all take a little longer, eventually he should see justice.

From the start of the indictments Trump and his legal team has had one goal: delay everything so that there are no criminal convictions prior to the election. It’s still an open question as to whether he will succeed but right now the odds seem pretty good that he will.
