DeNiro is a great actor and from what I hear, not such a great human being. But here he behaved like a patriot speaking truth to power. If Trump wins again, many of us may lose that liberty (among with many others.)

I don’t want to feed into the distraction so I won’t belabor this. But the reason I KNOW it wasn’t suppressed is because I was aware of the story for weeks before the election. I was aware that Rudy Giuliani was talking about it and whining that he was “suppressed”; it was reported on Fox, CNN, MSNBC. I knew about the laptop. The story wasn’t hidden. Maybe somebody tried to suppress it but they totally failed.

I read this until I got to Jim Jordan’s name, and stopped there.

1. No. 2. There were no parties involved in suppressing it. It wasn’t suppressed.

No we don’t. And your incessant whining about that is really tiresome at this point. It wasn’t collision, it wasn’t censorship, it didn’t affect the election outcome, it was completely meaningless. Very truly yours, your favorite bootlicker.

I can’t believe it. Annoying as hell at times but I loved him.

Haven’t seen it and don’t want to. But a couple of other things occurred to me: 1. The title. If you haven’t seen the trailer, the title sounds like an Italian art film. If you called it “Fury Road Something” or “Mad Max something” then I know what it is. But I’m guessing a lot of people don’t: 2. Anna Joy is a growing star but she’s covered in a lot of makeup and you don’t recognize her. So the star power attraction is lost. Little mistakes like this can make all the difference at the box office I think…

Conservatives are so obsessed with these bathroom issues. I think the real reason is that they’re terrified a woman might accidentally see how small their junk is. Same reason they insist on buying big scary looking guns.

The folks here and elsewhere calling Judge Merchan, a highly respected justice with decades of experience, a “hack” and corrupt are the same folks who called Dr. Fauci a hack and corrupt. There is a connection here and it’s more than simply trying to take down an expert in a given field who might say or do things they don’t like- it’s the populist urge to take down ALL experts in our society. The word the populists love to use is “elites”; they are scorned as “know-it-alls” and thought to be the main enemy.
