I actually had neighbors in mostly white, upper class Huntington Beach whom during the George Floyd protests kept loaded guns by their front doors. They actually feared that BLM and Antifa might show up any second and attack.

No self-respecting medical expert would ever debate RFK JR about vaccines, because RFK JR has no medical knowledge and spreads ignorant conspiracy theories. No. I don’t believe it’s OK to censor ANY of those things. But see I know in all of those cases you’re referring to social media or to the news media. For me, it’s only wrong when the government gets involved. Private entities are allowed to do what they want. For example Yale is a private university. If it wants to clamp down on freedom of speech it has every right. UCLA is a public university. It does not have the right to clamp down. Government vs private, makes all the difference.

FTR, Hamas is evil and I certainly don’t love them. What I would love is to see them destroyed. And I very much support the state of Israel. I have friends and family there. What does any of this have to do with free speech?

I think it’s a good thing for America to take in the world’s refugees. Those that suffer, who flee the worst the rest of mankind has to offer. We were established as a nation for this purpose. To me this is not a liberal or conservative thing. It’s an American thing. My grandparents were refugees who fled the Nazis and Communists. I am alive and free because this nation was kind and generous to my grandparents. I want my grandchildren to live in a nation that is kind and generous.
