    Trump and The Constitution

No you f@ck off. Number one I don’t know if any of those numbers are true. Number two if they are true then shame on those Presidents. I didn’t like their immigration policies anyhow. Everyone gets due process.
  2. Well too bad. They get it. Period.

I never said they were removed from their parents; I wrote that they were indoctrinated.
  4. Well two contradictory polls. I suspect yours is misleading. But we’ll know eventually.

Interesting analysis since my first ever vote was for Ronald Reagan and I remained a Republican well into my 40s.

What Keeps You From Accepting Jesus As Your Savior?

Well so was Jesus as I recall…

Cuba under Fidel didn’t allow parents to raise their kids. As with all Communist countries the children were raised mostly by the state and indoctrinated with ideology.

What Keeps You From Accepting Jesus As Your Savior?

I’m going to offer a serious answer to this question beyond being a non believer. My main problem with Christianity is the doctrine that good works do not get you into Heaven: only acceptance of Jesus does; otherwise you are doomed to Hell everlasting. Hans Frank was the Nazi governor of Poland during World War II. He helped cause the murder of over five million people, most of them Jews. While in prison awaiting his hanging ar Nuremberg after the war, Frank met with a pastor, found Jesus Christ, and begged forgiveness for his sins. This is known in Christianity as “finding redemption”. According to Christian doctrine, Hand Frank is now in Heaven as he found Jesus at the end of his life. Meanwhile most of Frank’s innocent victims who died as Jews are now burning in hell. I find this idea to be grossly immoral and unjust. I could never accept it. That’s why I can’t accept Jesus as my savior.

That I’m OK with. We need to have friendly relations, and free trade, with everyone. That’s the best way to liberate these countries from their dictatorships. I have no problem with being friendly with Cuba, or Iran, China or North Korea. Personally I could never shake the hand of a murderer but I’m not a politician and glad that Im not. But we should never turn our back on refugees from these countries.

I was 34. My views were the same then as they are now. I sympathize with all immigrants to this country, especially refugees, because that’s how my own father came here as a Holocaust survivor. Members of my family were turned away and put to death by the Nazis, others by the Communists. Elian Gonzalez lived in a slave Communist state ruled by a thug, the murderer Fidel Castro, His mother escaped with him fleeing north much as our own slaves did before the Civil War. She drowned along the way. Elian’s dad was used by the slave dictatorship as a pawn to demand his return and we gave into that. We actually used force to wrest this kid away from his family and sent him back to that hellhole. Man did that piss me off; still does.

I was extremely upset when Elian Gonzalez, whose mom gave up her life trying to escape slavery, was forcibly sent back to it. What the Clinton administration did enrages me to this day. Unforgivable. So is what the Trump people are doing now. We are not behaving as our founders intended.

    Shedeur Sanders is being disrespected.

Whats hilarious to me is that your hero Trump is one of those saying this the loudest.
  13. Thankfully the courts don’t agree with you.
  14. Agreed. There has been all kinds of unlawful action under all the Presidents you mentioned. It needs to stop.
  15. We will. We will know if we are winning in November of 2026. At this point I’m very optimistic but that’s a long way off.
  16. They thought he was talking about violent criminals. Thats because whenever he mentioned it he mentioned violent criminals. Most people, including me, have no problem with deporting violent criminals .
  17. You’re wrong. Most deportations get some kind of due process. If they don’t it’s against the law. I don’t care who is President. If it happened it’s unlawful.
  18. They didn’t give Trump a mandate. They wanted him to control the border. He’s gone too far. Now they want him to pull back.
  19. Here are the facts for you: https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/artI-S8-C18-8-7-2/ALDE_00001262/
  20. Wrong. Only one third of Americans believe that non violent criminals should be deported, and that number is shrinking: https://www.pewresearch.org/race-and-ethnicity/2025/03/26/americans-views-of-deportations/ Only about 6 months ago, nearly 80% of Republicans believed that anyone here illegally should be deported. Now that they’ve seen how that’s actually working out, only 54% of Republicans support this. “My kind” as you call it isn’t getting pushed aside, we’re starting to dominate the conversation.
  21. Yes it is required. The Bill of Rights was written for all people currently in this country not just citizens.
  22. The system is designed to make mistakes.
  23. If the parents aren’t violent criminals they shouldn’t be deported. If the parents are violent criminals the children should be removed from them and put up for American adoption. Either way they should NEVER be deported.
  24. I have no idea. How is that relevant?
  25. Anyone who is held against their will by the government gets due process, at the very least a hearing before a judge. Full stop. Doesn’t matter who you are. American citizens, non-American citizens. If you don’t believe in this you don’t believe in the Bill of Rights.
