You have a short memory. Only a couple days ago you were criticizing the behavior of IDF soldiers on the West Bank. They crossed the line. Also, everyone keeps forgetting that for about a decade before this latest conflict, the Netanyahu government supported Hamas with money and aid, hoping it would undercut Fatah and the possibility of a two state solution. Netanyahu would certainly prefer if you forgot this forever.

Unfortunately we’re left with two choices here: either she knowingly supports the murder of innocent people, which makes her an evil person IMO, or she is ignorant about the true nature of Hamas’ crimes. The latter choice is a possibility, because many extremists of this sort reject the news from the mainstream media in the same way that extreme conservatives in this country do. Like those conservatives, these radicals listen to the news that lies to them and tells them what they want to hear. And that is the damage done when so much of society reject the MSM.

I don’t. Not yet. I was opposed to how Israel did this (large scale invasion and bombing rather than precision assassinations) but now that it’s begun they need to finish it. But they need to finish it ASAP and they’d better have a plan in place for what happens next.

There’s really nothing to respond to. I don’t think that any innocent death anywhere at any time is defensible. War is an immoral act. That doesn’t mean it can’t be necessary- sometimes, in self defense, it absolutely is. But that doesn’t change the morality aspect.

Well I watched the debate last night. They all blamed fentanyl on illegal immigrants and the border. And the leading candidate who wasn’t there, Donald Trump, has this as the main theme of his campaign. So I think it’s reasonable to assert that most conservatives believe this, don’t you?

Here is what I take from reading most conservatives in this thread: you have to support everything Netanyahu and Israel do, unconditionally. You can’t offer the slightest bit of criticism, nor can you show the slightest amount of sympathy for Palestinians. Otherwise you are 100% a Jew hater and a supporter of Hamas and terrorism. And that’s already true of Biden and most Democrats, despite their lip service to the contrary.

Conservatives would have you believe that this is all being done by illegal immigrants at our “open” border. It’s a complete lie. You could spend billions on a wall all across the border, and shut down all illegals immigration, and it would have little to no effect on the fentanyl problem.
