Acapulco destroyed by cat 5 hurricane
The Real timschochet replied to Cdub100's topic in The Geek Club
Surprised you haven’t found a way to blame the Jews. -
But I do. I’ve read about a million words on this subject and I’ve certainly read every argument you could possibly offer me. It’s boring.
-
They’re not stupid. They’re simply not knowledgeable because they don’t care. AR-15s and other similar weapons are more dangerous. If it was practicable at all they should all be banned (it’s not, unfortunately.) And don’t bother asking me how they are more dangerous or how they differ from .22s. I could explain but I don’t care because it’s a stupid discussion.
-
Where has he gone? A nation turns its lonely eyes to him….
-
This is not a surprise. Gun nuts have got to be the stupidest people on Earth. For years they thought Sandy Hook was a hoax. They think their puny rifles will protect them from drones. And don’t dare mention the phrase “assault rifle” to them or they will immediately ask you to define one and then attempt to engage you in the most asinine argument other than perhaps from a Jehovah’s Witness at your doorstop that you’re ever likely to here. They are, as a group, largely total morons, which is why they also tend to be MAGA folks.

Camp being built for 2,000 illegals in Chicago
The Real timschochet replied to Gepetto's topic in The Geek Club
I used to think that the complaints about illegal immigrants were about law and order and economic cost. I rejected that it was really about racism. But the evidence is too strong to deny it, This is all about fear of brown people. -

Why are you so paranoid about brown people? -
Most of your points here are the product of your imagination and have little to do with reality.
-
I’m not blaming Indiana. But if Indiana allows the purchase of a weapon without a background check and Illinois does not, then logically folks with a bad background who live in Illinois and want to buy a gun are going to drive to Indiana to do it. Same with California and Nevada. That’s why, for any gun restrictions to be effective they really have to be federal.

Speaker of the House discussion
The Real timschochet replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
It doesn’t exactly make him a POS IMO. But it does create a lot of questions, mainly because the Bible is contradictory, subject to much interpretation, and has little bearing on many of the issues he will be facing. As I wrote earlier it certainly sounds like this is a guy I would disagree with most of the time. He also seems like a pretty nice guy and a stand up type guy. So let’s stop worrying about what he says and see what he does. The pressing issues for him are funding for Israel, funding for Ukraine, the farm bill, extending the government past November, and how far the impeachment of Biden is going to actually go, not necessarily in that order. These are difficult issues that Yehova doesn’t really have an opinion on, so far as we know. -
Minnesota Democrap takes on Biden
The Real timschochet replied to Pimpadeaux's topic in The Geek Club
Aren’t you other conservatives ever embarrassed by this dude’ frequent posts of this nature? -
I get it. I will continue to say that the answers are universal background checks, universal red flag laws, universal registration. And a total ban on all “ghost guns”. Everything has to be universal meaning federal. Because if one state is restrictive next to another state that is permissive the results are meaningless.
-
Well then I will think for you instead. Somebody’s got to.
-
You ought to see that liberal toilet on the shoreline at sunset. Most gorgeous liberal toilet you’ve ever seen.
-
What’s particularly hilarious about this is that 99% of your posts are straight from the internet. I prefer to do my own thinking.
-
Well first off I’m not concerned about AR-15s. At least I don’t think we can do anything about them. Second I already answered your question. Full federal registration.
-
Actually I do. There is only way to solve that problem: a mandatory federal registration of all firearms in this country. Are you down?
-
Who scares you the most? Black people, brown people, or Trannies? Curious because your posts seem evenly distributed.
-
He‘s smiling because with all of that it’s still the greatest place to live in the USA, or the world, nothing else even comes close. Paradise on Earth.
-
Chicago these days is code for “I’m afraid of black people.”
-
I’m not in favor of banning AR-15s. The evidence suggests the last ban worked but times have changed. There’s too many out there now. I’m only in favor of laws that are workable. If it’s not workable then I’m opposed no matter how good the idea is in principle. But let’s not pretend that these guns are no more dangerous than a 22. That’s bunk.
-
I’m frankly surprised the “what about Chicago?” didn’t come earlier in the thread.
-
Of course. Both are true.
-
There is also the example of Uvaldi in which a bunch of cops stood around outside while a shooter killed children in a classroom. I tend to agree with you that the “good guy with a gun” thing is a myth.
-
You really don’t. This is the sort of bull crap that conservatives are pulling these days. The lady is sympathetic to Palestinians. In so doing she had borrowed a couple of Palestinian terms, “from the river to the sea” and “Nakba” that many Jews find offensive, but they’re really not. She’s not calling for genocide. And Nakba means “the disaster” but that refers to the dislocation of Palestinians. When it comes right down to it this is the same BS they rightists have been pulling for years: portraying anyone sympathetic to the Palestinians as hateful and anti-Semitic. And, in sync with that, painting all liberals as radical hateful leftists. These are lies and if you believe them it’s only because you want to.
