Again this is just ignorant. We had a 32 billion deficit for ONE YEAR after several years of surplus. Well the problem there was that Trump continually obstructed justice which is why he should have impeached for that too.

Despite the daunting headlines, the more I read about this, the more I think there’s not much to this. McCarthy avoided forcing Republicans to vote on impeachment. He’s putting Comer and Jordan in charge of the investigation but so what? They already were. It’s an inquiry. They may never come up with anything more. They may never vote on impeachment. In the meantime he can MAYBE avoid a government shutdown.

When Bill Clinton was impeached, there was direct evidence that he lied under oath. When Donald Trump was impeached the first time, there was direct evidence that he threatened to withhold arms promised by Congress to Ukraine unless political favors were performed first. When Donald Trump was impeached the second time there was direct evidence that he failed to do his duty as President when the Capitol was attacked with the intent of preventing the peaceful transfer of power. If Joe Biden is impeached it will be based on suspicion of a crime that occurred years before, without any direct evidence.

1. The person I knew was the sister of a woman who worked with my wife. Tragically, her son died years later at the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay shooting. Ironically she is a hardcore Trumper. 2. I never said I knew a NYC fireman. My former neighbor and friend is a Huntington Beach fireman who volunteered with thousands of others across the country within days of the attack. He did indeed pull bodies out of the rubble, and told us about it. 3. One of my business partners is Turkish and has family in New York. He related to me stories of what it was like for them for months after the attack. Then it died down for years until the Ground Zero Mosque story which Trump played up to great effect, and got worse again in 2015 when Trump claimed he saw Muslims on rooftops in New Jersey cheering. Don’t much appreciate being called a liar.

And I have a friend, a Muslim, whose family were harassed because of the hate spread by the scumbag that you hero worship. So go f your artwork.

He openly speculated whether his buildings might now be the tallest in the city, and later told hateful, bigoted lies about personally seeing local Muslims in NYC celebrate. It was that particular falsehood that made me realize for the first time what a total POS this guy was.

Except that he is running again. I don’t love it, but it looks like that’s where we are.

But he does cry. He whines and cries at every opportunity when he’s not posting something completely inane or insane, which admittedly is most of the time. That’s why it doesn’t surprise me that Hardcore Troubadour is a Donald Trump fan. Both guys are cringy whiny cowards who say mean stupid and tasteless stuff. And, politically speaking, neither guy has the least idea what it means to be an American.

OK. I won’t disagree. It was.as I recall mostly collective attacks: “you’re all a bunch of white power bigots”, etc. It was stupid, and hurtful, and to my regret I participated in some of that. I regret it now. But if any Trump critic ever posted “I hope you die” or “I hope your kids get raped” I didn’t see it: This is a whole new level of ugliness IMO.

Is this the guy Clint Eastwood played? Good movie.
