I agree we have to get ahold of this. But not through the means you’re suggesting. The new President of Ecuador just requested billions in foreign aid to keep her economy afloat. I’m not suggesting that we should just send a check without conditions, but if you truly want to get a handle on this issue that’s what we need to be addressing: making Latin America more economically viable and secure and ending the violence there. Yet the same people who want to close down the border want to kill all foreign aid.

It is absolutely as secure. There are a lot more people coming in (creating the crisis) but that has very little to do with any changes Biden or Harris made.
