Actually I should rephrase my last point. I’ve been saying for quite some time that anyone other than Trump would have a decent shot of beating Biden. After watching that debate the other night I’m not so sure. Maybe Nikki Haley I guess. But the issue of abortion might be a bigger albatross for Republicans than even Trump is. Plus I don’t even know what the Republicans stand for anymore. You guys don’t like trans people, and woke pisses you off. You want to give Russia a win in Ukraine. And you’ve got a lot of white grievance.

The circle jerk of Biden haters in here is pretty amusing. But you guys are talking to yourselves. So long as Biden is running against Trump he’s going to be re-elected. And that’s a good thing.

I don’t know you. So I’m not going to wager $10k. But if you’d like I will bet $500 that Biden maintains or increases his percentage of the black vote in Atlanta from 2020- assuming its Biden vs Trump.

95% or more of the black community of Atlanta is going to vote for Joe Biden. Sorry to disappoint you.

Here’s why I think you’re making a poor argument: we have sent 75 billion to Ukraine since it was invaded. In comparative terms that’s not a whole lot. It’s around .01% of our overall budget. It’s insignificant. If you want to make the argument that we shouldn’t be helping Ukraine because it’s a bad idea to help Ukraine, then make that argument. But don’t argue that we need that money elsewhere because that makes no sense.

It’s perfectly valid to criticize Joe Biden over continuing inflation, high gas prices, mortgage rates, and the drug overdose issue (not so much Hawaii). What I find absurd is the idea that Donald Trump is going to fix any of these issues, or even make them slightly better.

I completely disagree with @League Champion and @RaiderHaters Revenge on the issue of Ukraine, but there’s no doubt that this view represents the base of the Republican Party. And that’s why Vivek had, IMO, such a good night. Listening to the pundits this morning, they’re dismissing Vivek as unserious, who was shown to be ridiculous last night. It’s like they’ve completely forgotten about Trump’s rise in 2015. They still don’t get it.

I’m not outraged. I just don’t think much of the comment.

Winners: Vivek- New star of the crazies (I mean, the GOP!) Haley- She’d have, BY FAR, the best chance of beating Biden. But she has no chance of getting through the primary. Trump: Nobody in this crowd can stop him. The indictments won’t stop him. He’s going to be the nominee. Biggest Winner: Biden: If he can stay healthy, he looks to be a shoo-in for another 4 years. Even putting Trump aside, the Republicans are on the wrong side of climate change and abortion as far as the vast majority of Americans are concerned. Losers: Tim Scott- Hoping for so much more. No personality. Chris Christie- He’s been auditioning for a job at MSNBC. He didn’t really help himself tonight. Biggest loser: Ron DeSantis. He was simply awful and completely unlikable.

Christie is too sane for this current GOP. He has no chance. That being said, his presence in the debates will prevent Trump from ever participating, Trump is way too much of a coward to ever be on the same stage.
