We are looking at bad times ahead. I don’t know how much Trump can do to make it right at this point; the damage has been done.

That’s contempt of Congress. Totally different. Contempt of court is far more serious.

Liberals have no problem with legality. It’s conservatives that seem to have a problem with it on a regular basis. First they were OK with police being violently attacked at the U.S. Capitol. Next they voted for a convicted felon to be President of the United States. Now they approve when that same felon continually violates the laws and the Constitution; they cheer him on. Conservatives obviously have no respect for our laws.

High time. Put Tom Homan behind bars.

He has but he also spends most of his time trying to offer a legal defense for Trump’s actions, so I suspect he really does care.

This is actually the MAGA argument. They don’t care that the law is being broken because they like the result. Certain posters like @RaiderHaters Revenge and @Strike won’t admit this. They are trying to argue that the laws actually DO allow for the Trump administration to do what they did here,. But they are failing badly, proven wrong at every turn, because it’s an unsustainable argument. Other posters like @jbycho are more honest: they simply believe the ends justifies the means and say so. They have no problem with Trump trying to impose an authoritarian dictatorship: that’s what they want.

Again none of this is true. You’re just asserting nonsense here, and you have for a couple days now.

I think some of these pro-Hamas protestors have made absolute fools of themselves. But that’s their right so long as they’re peaceful. Obviously they don’t have the right to be violent, or to harass Jews or students who disagree with them. To the issue at hand I think the Trump Administration is cynically using the issue of anti-semitism in order to attack the independence of universities as they stand in the way of the authoritarian dictatorship that Trump seeks to impose on this country. Following the pattern of Orban, Erdogan and other strong men, he is attempting to weaken the press, law firms, the courts, universities. All part of the plan. I’m glad Harvard is standing up to this,

The law is the law. We need to do everything we can to get him back. If El Salvador doesn’t agree, cut off their aid. It’s pretty meaningless, guy. It’s not going to result in removing most of them (I keep telling you there will be more undocumented people here in 4 years than there are now) and it will just be rescinded by the next President, whoever that is (it will be a Democrat.) Eventually we’re going to have to grant most of these folks amnesty and some kind of legal recognition. It’s the only workable solution.

Not nationalists in the way you would define nationalism. Certainly not at all analogous to American nationalism, a term which is has been co-opted anyhow. It would take me too long to explain here. Bottom line is that there is no contradiction, or even irony, in my point of view.

Here is what we know: He hates Shapiro. He would have attacked him with a hammer (like Paul Pelosi.) He’s unemployed and lives with his parents. He was a mechanic. He has several children. And that’s it. Everthing else is speculation at this point. We don’t know if he’s liberal or conservative, MAGA or leftist. We don’t know why he did this. @Hardcore troubadour is also wrong as usual; this remains a #1 news story; I’ve heard it reported at the top of every hour.
