I don’t dismiss the poll. But what’s important to emphasize is that Trump hasn’t really gained among Latinos; Biden has lost votes, not to Trump but to third party candidates and a lack of excitement about Biden. (This phenomenon is also true among blacks and young voters as well.) Conventional wisdom says that third party candidates fade as the election gets closer. Personally I believe that much of the voting public has not yet accepted the inevitability of Biden vs Trump. When that stark choice becomes clear I’m betting they return to Biden. But it’s going to be close.

Thanks for calling him out. And jonmx too. They really deserve it. About 20% of the posters here are simply rude a$$holes. The other dudes might not be but they tolerate the ones who are. Then we have the bigots, the Jew haters, the xenophobes….its really pathetic and disgusting. Im on the lookout for a different political forum. I don’t want it filled with folks who agree with me, I’d love to discuss issues and debate with lots of conservatives. Even Trumpers. But they need to be thoughtful people. I don’t want to engage with bigots and I don’t need idiots in my life, even on this level. And I don’t need extremist conspiracy nuts like Jon either- it’s boring. Theres a few dudes I enjoy talking to here: @RLLD, @Voltaire, @jerryskids. I disagree with a lot of their views but they’re not stupid and they’re not bigots. But man they’re in the minority. If I can find another forum filled with more guys like that I’m out of here. I’m sure the losers here won’t miss me; I certainly won’t miss them.

By dynamiting? There are no natural waterfalls in Hawaii. Nearly everything beautiful here- the waterfalls, the flowers, the trees, the rivers- all brought in by man. Forget about Trump- whatever Trump did or didn’t do with regard to this can be looked at separately. If Bill Clinton was on that island or the plane or whereever with young girls procured by Epstein he deserves to be castigated, politically cancelled, prosecuted if applicable, and shunned forever. Full stop, no whataboutisms.

No. Not when he uses terms like Marxism. If he was a liberal using terms like fascism he would be just as irrelevant. By using such terms he defines himself as somebody who allows strong political thinking to affect his judgement. So I don’t trust his analysis.

No. Based on his commentary here I don’t really regard him as a reliable authority/ he’s too biased in one direction. In addition, as I wrote earlier, I don’t see how anyone can argue that the reforms have improved the situation OR made them worse. It’s too soon.

No. I’m sure that if Mark Levin made 20 assertions I would agree with 2-3 of them. Doesn’t change the fact that he’s dishonest and disreputable IMO. He’s cringeworthy.

You guys are about as good at football analysis as you are at politics. Any team who passes on Williams will regret it for years to come. He’s the next Patrick Mahomes.

The original Jesus, like so many I meet with the same name, was an undocumented immigrant. And based on my (limited) understanding of His teachings, if Jesus Christ were around today and in the USA He would likely be trying to feed and shelter undocumented immigrants who arrive at our borders.

I think you misunderstood me. I’ve read Mark Levin. I find his arguments absurd and terribly flawed. But I’ve read him. I read lots of conservatives. Calling Levin a reputable historian is ridiculous. There are some great conservative historians: Paul Johnson comes to mind, and Victor Davis Hanson (his political views are off the deep end but he’s terrific at history.) Levin is not one of them.

Mark Levin is not somebody I ever agree with or trust to provide me an accurate analysis of anything. But even beyond that I gotta ask: how do you guys tolerate his shrill whiny voice? I can’t bear to listen to more than 30 seconds.

Thats correct. And no I don’t think that’s what Trump wants to do. I think he wants detention camps much like Manzanar, which was an American concentration camp- far more humane than the German version but still a concentration camp. Apparently this is fine with many people here (and seemingly most Republicans who seem eager to re-elect Donald Trump.) it’s not acceptable to me, and it’s one of the main reasons I desperately want him to lose.
