Why so you waste time with this? You’re not going to change anyone’s mind and most of the stuff you post on this subject is ugly and asinine.

I fundamentally disagree with the politics of so many of you guys here but you seem like good people nonetheless (most of you anyhow- there are a couple of folks I kind of dislike, but that’s a pretty small number.) So here’s wishing everyone of you and your families a merry Christmas and good holiday season and happy New Year. Hope everyone stays healthy and that your lives are good.

It seems like Putin had Crimea before this latest invasion, didn’t he? And it hasn’t helped him much. It amazes me that so many conservative/maga types want to admire Putin as some sort of genius. You guys are constantly rooting for him, want him to succeed. I just don’t get it. The guy is a stone blood killer. Why on Earth would you cheer for someone like that? Reminds me of all the leftists in my youth that kissed Fidel Castro’s ass all the time. All these socialist types, like Maxine Waters and Bernie Sanders, would take these trips to Havana and tell Fidel how brilliant he was. It was really nauseating and embarrassing. This is the same thing.

Rudolph had a good game. I don’t really think he’s the answer at QB but maybe he can prove me wrong. On the other hand, Jake Browning went back to being a third string QB, so that helped.

I’m not sure this can be considered a win either. Ask Israel what it’s like when you occupy land where everybody hates you.

1. I don’t regard you as my enemy. Hamas, Communists, Nazis, terrorists, murderers and rapists are my enemies. You’re an American so you’re on my side. But I disagree, strongly, with many of your ideas. 2. The positions adopted by Donald Trump and the MAGA crowd with regard to handling illegal immigration are not “right of center”. They are hardline right, extreme right, and that is why I so strongly oppose them.

Trump is a racist and his “solutions” would and did only make things worse. I don’t like the current situation but I will never accept the MAGA plan for this issue, which is one of intolerance and bigotry.

But I agree with him.

We’re not there yet. And if Trump is defeated we won’t be. Everything else you wrote after this line is complete and utter bullsh!t.

I disagree with you. I think the charges are legit and that he will be tried and convicted. I believe the key will be the sworn testimony of Mark Meadows. But we’ll find out,

I do now. I didn’t realize at the time I posted that. My understanding is that an actual charge of insurrection was omitted for tactical reasons. But even so it makes the Colorado ruling even more problematic. Anyhow I stand corrected.

lol, JFK is an entertaining film but it is hardly true.

They’ve always been afraid of nuclear waste and possible nuclear accidents. And that’s a reasonable concern. But fusion doesn’t create any waste.

Look, as someone crudely pointed out above, I’m no scientist. I only understand this very vaguely, and simply, in very general layman’s terms. But I do understand, I think, that it’s going to change all the rules. It’s going to create whole new technologies, new ways of thinking and doing things that we can’t quite envision.

We may not need wires.

Our entire infrastructure will be replaced. Everything. That’s why I said the whole world will change. The best analogy that comes to mind is the creation of the automobile and its production, by Henry Ford, for mass use. That changed every aspect of world culture.

You don’t need to be a nuclear physicist to understand the implications: a source of energy so cheap and limitless and safe that it will replace everything else. For those who understand the reference, this is John Galt’s motor.

Sorry the dumbazz was busy. Let’s start with this concept: imagine all the energy that New York City uses in a single day- all of the electrical power. Now imagine that all of that energy could be produced with a single glass filled with water- one cup. Thats how nuclear fusion was explained to me by my cousin, who works at the Livermore Labs- he was a Cal Tech grad.
