Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin Tyler Robinson lived with transgender partner
The Real timschochet replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
That contradicts completely the reporting that you just posted, in which both sources close to the police and the governor himself praise Twiggs, point out how vital he was to the arrest and describe how completely shocked he was by what happened. -
Lisa Cook Mortgage Fraud Allegations
The Real timschochet replied to TimHauck's topic in The Geek Club
Because I don’t know for sure. But it certainly appears that way and her claim that she never deliberately committed fraud (she may have made an error) seems to be strengthened by this new evidence. I’m going to be honest with you: I’ve probably signed loan documents about a dozen times in my life and every time I sign whatever is thrust in front of me, trusting that whoever prepared it got it right. Probably dumb… -
Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin Tyler Robinson lived with transgender partner
The Real timschochet replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
Seems like this part is being forgotten. So based on what I’m reading here: Twiggs knew nothing about the murder, was aghast that it happened, was pivotal to the arrest and has been closely cooperating with the police? So in other words he’s one of the heroes in this story? I appreciate learning this, HellToupee. -
Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin Tyler Robinson lived with transgender partner
The Real timschochet replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
I made two statements. The first one, that transgenders are mostly non-violent and are themselves often victims of violence, is easily provable by statistical studies which I have presented before and which you’re capable of finding with a simple Google search. Latest stats show that transgenders are four times more likely to be physically attacked than cisgenders (non-trans). The second statement, that trans is not a mental illness, is based on the American Medical Association and every other respected medical authority in this country. Again this is easily verifiable through Google if you wish. So yes it would be correct to label my statements as facts and not based on emotion. On the other hand how should we label your denial of those statements? -
Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin Tyler Robinson lived with transgender partner
The Real timschochet replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
You imply that they’re all crazy and violent. Whenever there is a mass shooter you immediately question if the person is a tranny. Your views on this issue are based on fear and ignorance. Whether or not you directly advocate violence against them is immaterial. The point is that extreme people who read the sort of BS you spew (or even more likely hear it from provocateurs like Charlie Kirk) will commit violence against trannies. Here is a record of how bad it’s gotten: https://vawnet.org/sc/serving-trans-and-non-binary-survivors-domestic-and-sexual-violence/violence-against-trans-and -

Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin Tyler Robinson lived with transgender partner
The Real timschochet replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
On the topic at hand: it wouldn’t surprise me if the reporting is true. But I strongly and firmly disagree with the implications that the usual suspects are making: 1. Most transgender people are not violent; they are, rather, the victims of violence and persecution against them. 2. Tramsgender people are not mentally ill. Nothing that happened here is going to change these two facts, no matter how much bigotry and ignorance is perpetuated. -

Muslim Mamdani, if Elected Mayor, Pledges to Order N.Y.P.D. to Arrest Netanyahu
The Real timschochet replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
It’s not rational to want no Muslims in this country. It’s hateful bigotry and it can easily lead to violence against innocent people. -
Nice response. Thanks for revealing that you’re a waste of time.

I don’t think anyone who has cheered for cities to burn down should be calling anyone else a blowhard. But putting that aside, unless you’re willing to acknowledge that Trump’s irresponsible rhetoric is the worst by any leader you don’t have any credibility on this topic.
-
Again what’s your point? I don’t agree with much of that rhetoric. A lot is over the top. Democrats are certainly guilty. But nobody is MORE guilty than Donald Trump. He is by far the worst and I already gave you only a few examples. Surely you have acknowledge this? If you don’t you’re just being dishonest.

Muslim Mamdani, if Elected Mayor, Pledges to Order N.Y.P.D. to Arrest Netanyahu
The Real timschochet replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
I am not going to argue with your ignorance and bigotry. If you want to truly learn about whether or not American Muslims have contributed to this nation you can. I suggest you educate yourself on this topic; it’s never too late. And while you haven’t directly advocated violence your ignorant and bigoted rhetoric on Islam makes it easier for deranged people to attack Muslims, believing they are saving us from evil. So according to the arguments I have heard over the last few days, YOU will be guilty of anything bad happens to Muslims in the future. So, by the way, is Charlie Kirk. He spewed the same kind of hatred towards Muslims you are spewing only far worse. -
He shouldn’t have said that. It wasn’t good. But it still doesn’t even come close to the stuff Trump has said. It’s almost laughable that you even bring it up.
-
Leaders on all sides of the political spectrum have been guilty of making provocative statements that could be seen as inciting or promoting violence. But in the entire history of this country there is nobody who has done this with more regularity than President Trump. He is by far the worst leader we have ever had when it comes to calling for acts of violence and it’s not particularly close. Here is an article from last year which cites only a few of the literally hundreds of examples: https://www.usnews.com/news/national-news/articles/2024-11-04/the-people-and-groups-trump-has-threatened-with-violence If we’re going to condemn this sort of behavior (and we must) on all sides we have to start with Trump.

Deranged Democrat Bluesky posters threaten Trump, Elon Musk, Ben Shapiro immediately after Charlie Kirk’s assassination

Then you’re one of the guilty ones. Actually as I recall you might be the guiltiest person here since you’ve directly wished violence on my family and several others. -

Well we already know what they were saying in this forum after Paul Pelosi was attacked. Didn’t the guy who started this thread inform us that it was Pelosi’s gay lover? -
Donald Trump is my President. I didn’t vote for him, don’t like him, but so long as he’s there he represents me to the world. I was recently challenged by a conservative friend of mine to list things I like about what President Trump has done. In truth it’s not a long list. But it’s not negligible either. So I’m going to devote this thread to positive actions by President Trump (according to me.) 1. The chaos that was at the southern border during most of the Biden years has all but stopped. I don’t like Trump’s overall policy on this issue and I am highly sympathetic to undocumented immigrants. But I prefer order to chaos and Trump has achieved this. Democrats won’t give him credit for this, I will. 2. Trump has refused to give in to the isolationists who have demanded we pull out of NATO and stop all aid to Ukraine. To his great credit he hasn’t done this. In fact he appears to be reversing himself on this entire issue in real time. Hopefully that continues. 3. In recent days Trump has expressed real concern about the starving Palestinian children and how best to help them. The reporting is that he is sincere about this. Though I disagree with his entire policy on this subject, this sign of apparent empathy makes me like him a little more and believe that we’re not talking about an evil guy here. 4. Finally, perhaps most importantly: in both terms of office President Trump is the first President in my lifetime, and the only President I can think of, who has sought to avoid getting the United States caught up in military conflict. I believe he truly does not want us to go to war. Overall that’s a good thing (though it could be problematic if it ever means reneging on our commitments, but that hasn’t happened yet.) There will be other things I list as they happen, I’m sure. That’s it for now.

Good stuff President Trump has done
The Real timschochet replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
Trump has demanded NATO allies stop buying oil from Russia: https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2025/09/13/trump-russia-nato-putin-trade-sanctions-.html He’s absolutely right. This is in fact the key to getting peace. If Germany and the rest halt their purchasing along with stronger U.S. sanctions, Putin will fold. I’m surprised and pleased by President Trump’s comments here. Hopefully for once he doesn’t back down.
