Oh look! Blexit! I can’t believe you guys keep falling for the same story over and over again. Blacks will vote for Republicans when Republicans stop defending police who are racist to Blacks, when Republicans stop trying to take away voting rights for Blacks, and when Republicans stop trying to find ways around the Civil Rights Act. Not before.

This is why I was opposed to Karen Bass in the election. Of course since I don’t live in Los Angeles what I want doesn’t count. But Rick Caruso had some really good ideas IMO that were less expensive and innovative. I wish they had given him a chance.

My plot for the next Disney Princess movie: Prince Larry lives in the castle; he is unhappy but doesn’t know why. The kingdom is cursed with endless winter; the legends say that only a new princess will bring about spring. Larry’s parents have tried to get him to marry but he doesn’t seem interested. But a princess is needed. Then Larry gets an idea: he doesn’t need to marry; he can become a princess himself! So begins an adventure in which Larry must find the wizard who will change him into a princess. But will the evil forces stop him? What do you guys think? We’ll have catchy songs, and Larry will have a cute animal sidekick.

Many of the criticisms against liberals are well-founded. Some I agree with. But even many of the ones I don’t have some merit at least in terms of reasonable points being made. This is even true of a few of your arguments from time to time. The ugly part is when you throw in “Auschwitz”, “Nazis” etc. Unfortunately you’re not the only one who engages in this ugly hyperbole; the left does it as well. When you do this it removes all of your credibility.

It’s not misleading at all. Per capita is really the only way to compare the two states. You can’t compare by straight numbers because California has so many more people. (you know why that is? Because more people want to be here than any other state.)

Exactly and it’s not a technical argument. A higher percentage of Floridians moved to California than the other way around. And why wouldn’t they? California is a better place to live in every way. It’s like a fine dining restaurant: not everyone can afford to live here. But if you have the money believe me you won’t want to live anywhere else. It’s paradise on Earth. I’m extremely lucky.

The mainstream media, which so many of you reject, are devoted this morning to focusing on the new information regarding Senator Menendez, which is highly incriminating. But of course they’re biased to make all conservatives look bad. Oh wait…

I wonder if you have the first inkling how awful this is when you’re writing it?

Because you haven’t shown any connection between those sums and Hunter receiving money from Ukraine or China. And even if you did these amounts just don’t seem dramatic enough to suggest corruption in the nation’s highest or 2nd highest office. Don’t forget that Trump’s son in law received a TWO BILLION dollar loan from the Saudis. I have no idea if there was any corruption there but two billion is the sort of amount that makes me take notice. Not a few hundred thousand…

Thanks to you and @Strike for pointing this out. I didn’t pay attention to it at the time. But it appears from what you’ve shown me that either Biden didn’t know (implausible) or that he was lying (plausible.) So I was wrong, there is evidence that he very likely lied. Does this lying indicate corruption? No but it makes me more suspicious of it. Does the $4200 received make me suspicious of corruption? It actually makes me less suspicious to be honest, because if there were larger sums involved Comer wouldn’t have waited to produce them. So I remain highly skeptical that there is anything to this beyond Joe Biden trying to protect the shameful activities of his addict son- understandable but not OK if he had to lie about it.

I didn’t watch the friend so I have no way of knowing. I found Blasey Ford’s testimony, on TV to be plausible.

Ah. What I wrote at the time was that I was inclined to believe her (for many reasons I won’t bore you with) but that if Kavanaugh was charged with assault in a court of law, and I was on the jury, I would be inclined to acquit him due to lack of evidence. But I found her testimony plausible.

I’m not aware of the video of your first sentence. Can you provide it? If he really said his son never took money from China it would change my mind about Joe lying about this issue.

This is convenient. It allows you to stick with confirmation bias exactly 100% of the time.

No offense but your assertion (in your first sentence) is a little insulting, I don’t deny that I am a liberal and want to see Joe Biden re-elected, but I think I’m also quite capable of keeping an open mind and being willing to go where the facts lead me, I’ve given you my reasons for thinking that there is no evidence that Biden lied. Rather than demonstrate the flaw in those reasons, you either tell me that I’m biased or advise me to be patient because more evidence is coming.

And here is the true source of our dilemma: who to trust? I trust the mainstream media. You refer to it as the “left wing media”. You think I should be open to right wing sources whom I have no reason to trust. I don’t know how to solve this problem but I do know that if we disagree on the facts we can never find common ground.

You don’t know that this isn’t the only instance or that the other instances if there are any are any more circumstantial. The impeachments of Donald Trump were not rushed (the 2nd one might have been but the evidence was already very clear.)

1. Based on what we have now there is no evidence that Biden lied and no evidence he acted corruptly. I therefore have to strongly disagree with your previous assertions on this matter. If more money or more evidence is produced I might change my mind. But it’s not there and I don’t understand your assumption that it’s coming. 2. There is already enough evidence in the public arena to convict Donald Trump of several felonies and send him to jail for many years. In that case I’m not sure what you’re waiting to learn.

I will continue to believe the mainstream media and you will continue to believe crazy extreme right wing sources. I’m pretty comfortable knowing who will be right (practically 100% of the time.)

Again you’re talking about $4000!!! Add some zeroes and MAYBE it’s a bit more suspicious, But if you want to charge a Vice President of the USA with corruption it better be a LOT of zeroes. You really think Joe Biden performed political favors for 4 grand?
