Opposing Trump’s tariffs plan. I could, if I wanted, give you a long list of other items, but I will stop here because it’s enough. It’s defining. I said so at the time.

The Trump era has brought on so many changes and it appears one of them is a brand new definition of the word “winning”. In this new golden age we can celebrate the accomplishments of the Los Angeles Clippers and Detroit Lions: they are now championship franchises. Why not?

Nope not ghey, just patriotic. There are few greater Americans of the 20th century than Edgar R. Murrow. And since we are currently living in a new McCarthy era in which conservative forces are attempting to stifle our freedoms, no topic could be more current.

Kamala was right all along, and so were her supporters. We knew what was best for America, you guys did not. That is now apparent to everyone. Too late now though.

Except that I didn’t vote for the disaster. You did.

And she wouldn’t have done the tariffs. That alone, in addition to everything else, would have made her a better President. We tried to tell you this, you didn’t listen. The debate between them should have told you she was much smarter, more knowledgeable, better prepared than Trump. You weren’t paying attention. Now we all suffer.

Elon appears to be finally waking up. Makes sense: he lost 30 billion in the last two days. Anyhow he ripped Peter Navarro (Trump’s main tariff advisor) as an idiot and said he wants a no tariff zone between us and Europe. if only. But I doubt Trump’s going to listen to him either…

One of the issues that nobody is paying much attention to yet: the large number of people from Europe and Canada who are cancelling their planned trips to the USA as retaliation because they don’t want to spend money here. This shouldn’t be dismissed; the impact could be terrible for us, particularly in California and Florida.

Not the best description of my life but it does apply well to Trump’s.

If you can explain why this subject is at all relevant to issue of tariffs I’ll be happy to tell you exactly how that all went down.

As this situation gets worse and worse, we’re going to hear a lot of folks here and elsewhere proclaim that they don’t like Trump, they don’t like Democrats either, damn the lot of them, let’s try something new. They will NEVER take responsibility for having voted for Trump, and they will NEVER credit liberals for opposing Trump. They’ll simply say they’re sick of all of it.

I really don’t need to do that. Nothing I write will change his status. ETA- but I really did lose a lot of money the last few days (on paper). So I would like to get that back, please.
