This story isn’t going away but it’s not going to destroy Trump either. Republicans and MAGA won’t let that happen. I don’t think it’s going to have a huge impact on next years elections. Neither is immigration even though the polls now show most of the public has soured on Trump’s methods. The primary issue will be the new inflation caused by the tariffs, which we start to see very shortly. Second will be the disastrous Big Beautiful Bill. Those are the two issues that will bring Trump’s power a tumbling down.

Nobody cares about this stuff. The Russian collusion was real. Nothing is going to be discovered here. The public wants prices lowered and they want Trump to leave most undocumented immigrants alone. When are those things going to happen? Every poll shows this is the stuff the public wants.

The only effect stuff like this has is that it will scare people and hurt the economy, and guarantee a bigger blue wave come next election cycle. In terms of undocumented immigrants, forget it. They’re not going anywhere. If anything you’re guaranteeing eventual amnesty for most of them.

That’s not what I was referring to. I was referring to their moves to destroy everything that makes living in Gaza possible. It’s a systemic destruction designed to either make millions of people die or force them to leave. It’s called ethnic cleansing. It has nothing to do with “killing the enemy” and your response suggests you’re not even aware of the reality of what is going on.

The IDF goal in Gaza appears to be a systemic plan to make it uninhabitable for Palestinians to live there any longer. By any reasonable definition, this is genocide and ethnic cleansing. There is no way to justify it, no matter how murderous or evil Hamas is (and they are.) There is no way to excuse it. Israel is committing a crime, in real time, against humanity.
