There aren’t any Hamas apologists here. But I will respond anyhow: three things can be true at the same time. Hamas is making it very difficult to get aid to the hungry AND Hamas is involved in corruption AND Israel has systematically helped to starve the Palestinians. All are true. This isn’t either or.

Where are the indictments? Where is the special prosecutor? Treason is a serious crime. If somebody truly committed treason I want them tried, be it Obama or whomever. When is this going to happen?

Taxes are an unfortunate fact of life. We have expectations of government and somebody needs to pay for it. But taxes should NEVER be on trade (tariffs) as it interferes with economic growth which is the key to everything. This has been my consistent view my entire adult life. I believe in free trade without limits.

Whoever is committing fraud should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, Newsom included if that’s what the evidence shows. But you have consistently made this assumption without any evidence. I know you detest Newsom’s politics. But don’t you think you should have at least SOME evidence before making this assumption? (His net worth is not evidence.)

My attitude towards all this stuff is the same as when people were complaining about the “woke” ads: if it sells, more power to them. If it doesn’t sell they’ll pull it. If you’re spending your time either complaining about an advertisement or cheering it for political reasons, you’ve weird.

She’s pretty liberal herself. Supports Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ, choice…she’s no conservative.

Yes seriously. Despite the policies. I firmly believe the policies, particularly the tarrifs and deportations, are awful for America and doing real damage to the economy. You just don’t see it yet. I would give a lot to be wrong about this but I’m not.

The U.S. economy is amazing and it continues to do well despite Trump’s policies, not because of them. That said things are slowing down. The good times will not continue, unfortunately.

Posts like this are going to be especially embarrassing a few months from now. But unfortunately I won’t be gloating about it because I’m going to feel the pain as much as everyone else.

In another thread you just admitted that you were wrong about a key issue. You’re wrong here as well. That’s what happens when you “diversify your news intake”.

OK but WHY were you wrong about this? It’s not because you did anything bad yourself. It was because you got it from a source that deliberately lied to you. And that is a much larger problem. Here is my contention: the mainstream media isn’t always accurate, sometimes reports news with a bias, but generally tries to be objective. Right wing media deliberately offers misleading and false information which they know people like you want to hear. So long as you get your news from right wing media, you are ALWAYS going to be misinformed. This won’t be a one-off.
