This part I’m happy to answer. Because I was wrong. There are people here I wasn’t aware of then that I’ve come to respect. I’ve also come to very much appreciate the light touch of the moderators here vs the heavy handedness of FBG. I still post at FBG on non-political topics all the time. But like most people here that I converse with I am a political junkie and so I want to discuss and debate politics, I can’t do that there anymore. The fact that this forum is dominated by maga supporters is a challenge I enjoy. I do wish there were less trolls around here, but that’s a price I’m willing to pay at least for now.

Sure. By the way that’s all accurate. I reported a few people before Joe requested it, over several years, but only one person after he requested it. I reported one person here for the reason I wrote. But keep going if you want to waste the time.

Once again you have lied about me. EG offered to give me his personal address; I asked for PayPal or VenMo. He refused, so I refused to pay him. Then about a week later I decided I was being a jerk, apologized here and told him to send me whatever address he wanted and I would pay him. He accepted my apology and wrote that he considered my apology the only payment he wanted and refused acceptance of any money. Every description you offer of me is a lie. Agree with this analysis 100% but I would add that IF entitlements are actually ever cut, the voters will simply throw whoever did it out of office and the new politicians will reinstate status quo. Every politician knows this so why should they bother? The real fault is ours. We won’t accept real pain. This is why, for the exact same reason, AOC’s Green New Deal is doomed. Even if she and people like her ever got into power, the minute they tried imposing real restrictions on our use of fossil fuels the public would simply throw them out again. I tell my liberal friends this all the time: you want to replace fossil fuels, you need to hand the American people a cheaper and easier alternative on a silver platter. You’ll never get there by trying to punish us; we won’t put up with it.

Yes house conservatives are once again threatening to defy Trump over this. If they end up actually doing it I will be impressed and I will come in here and give them credit. But let’s see them do it; right now it’s just talk. The only time conservatives ever vote against spending is (a) if the bill is proposed by Democrats or (b) if it’s defiance for show because they know it’s going to pass or fail anyhow despite their vote; therefore their vote is “safe”. Let’s see if this time is different.
