In real time. Of all the incompetent people that Trump has appointed to important positions this MAY be the worst. (I say “may” because Hegseth, Gabbard, Pirro are all good candidates as well) But damn is this guy a total moron.

They’re not. We don’t know what Trump did or didn’t do. The only thing we know, or think we know, at this point is: 1. Epstein’s emails suggest Trump is lying when he claims he has no idea what Epstein was involved in. (BTW, this claim was also contradicted by Leavitt yesterday when she said that Trump kicked Epstein out of Maralago because he was a pedophile- Trump claims it was another non related reason. 2. Epstein’s emails suggest Trump is lying about never spending time at Epstein’s house. 3. Trump’s statements and actions regarding this matter ever since March of this year are entirely inconsistent with those of an innocent person with nothing to hide.

This is thread in which I hope to engage in discussion here about anything other than politics. All are welcome but if you try to raise political issues here I will ignore you. Busy weekend for me: tonight I am going to see the film Nuremberg. I love historical dramas of this sort but this one got some mediocre reviews so far; still I’m hoping for the best. Will report back. Tomorrow night I am at So Fi Stadium to see my Steelers against the Chargers. I try to attend Steelers games whenever they’re in town which is usually every 3 years or so. Pittsburgh played very well last week at home but this will be a bigger test on the road. Can they contain Herbert? I have my doubts, frankly.

Speaking of buzzsaws, my UCLA football team travels to Ohio State this weekend. The spread is 31.5 points. (interestingly enough that was the exact same spread when they played Indiana- perhaps that is the maximum?) Of course I will watch. Because I am a masochist sports fan.
