Saturday Discussion: Steelers at Colts - Wk15
easilyscan replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
I get what you're saying as well, but how is he supposed to be tackled ? Would be tackler can't do a horse collar, can't reach around & grab them by the helmet/face mask, can't aim for the midsection, as he could if the runner was coming towards him. If he catches him from behind, of course his body is going to land on the players legs. Once his arms slide down below the runners knees, it's going to trip up the runner & he'll fall forward. I don't like injuries either, but unfortunately, it's part of the game. -

Maybe the NFL will outlaw tackling at some point ? Looks like they're moving in that direction....... -

Roger Goodell Says NFL Is Ready to Ban Controversial Hip-Drop Tackle

Ridiculous they would even consider banning a perfectly legit tackle like this. -

Was Barney Frank involved ? -
I'd rather not.

Great idea, except for the fact that mostly peaceful protesters would burn it to the ground. (after looting anything of value)

For anyone like myself, who was in a pinch for a RB this weekend & didn't start Zamir, another possibility just arose. Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) ruled out for Week 15 Fri, Dec 15th 1:28pm EST By Ari Koslow Brian Robinson Jr. has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter) Fantasy Impact: The bye week was not enough time for Robinson to return from his hamstring injury as he missed practice all week. It should be Antonio Gibson leading the backfield with Chris Rodriguez mixing in on the early downs.

Joshua Dobbs demoted to emergency QB in Week 15 Thu, Dec 14th 3:06pm EST By Jordan Epp Minnesota Vikings QB Joshua Dobbs, who was benched in Week 14's 3-0 victory, has been demoted to the emergency QB and will not be active in Week 15. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter) Fantasy Impact: Dobbs has seen his struggles in Minnesota's offense increase after a strong start to his Vikings campaign following a mid-season acquisition via trade. He went 2-2 in four starts and threw five touchdowns, five interceptions and 895 yards in his five appearances in Minnesota so far this season. He will only be able to play if QB1 Nick Mullens and QB2 Jaren Hall are both out with an injury.

It was either very quiet, or very loud in the Chargers locker room. -

I'd give them an A+ so far tonight. -
What a great blast from the past. Not the game, but the highlights from Chris Berman.

Singletary is incredibly frustrating. Even before the injury to Pierce, he had a much better YPC average. When Pierce went down, he came in & crushed it. It looks like the coach decided to give DP one last chance to prove 2b the better back in week 13. He continued to stink 15-41-1 A 2.7 YPC average. Singletary had 8-36-0 - 4.5 YPC Last week it was Singletary 13-65-1 5.0 YPC & Pierce 4-9-0 2.3 YPC With the Texans in contention for the AFC south, or a wildcard birth, I'm hoping the coach does the right thing and continues to feed Singletary. The season stats say it all. 4.2 yards per carry isn't fantastic, but it's 44.83% better than 2.9 FEED HIM! Rushing Player G Rush Yds Y/G Avg Long TD Fum FL Devin Singletary 13 141 590 45.4 4.2 22 3 0 0 Dameon Pierce 10 133 391 39.1 2.9 22 2 0 0 C.J. Stroud 13 35 143 11.0 4.1 16 3 8 4

I hope it works out. I've decided to go with Singletary or Chandler.

As a Jacobs owner, I'm considering it. The fact that the Raiders are awful at running the ball (1048 yds....last in the NFL) is a concern.

Not at all surprising. Some woman was pimping dog treats on next door recently. About $100.00 a pound. https://lifesabundance.com/Category/Products/Dogs/Treats/BisonLiverTreats.aspx?realname=20107674&cat=0&hdr=&Ath=False&crt=0&Category=BisonLiver_v11(Pet_Base)&Sku=420418 -
The figures could've changed since then (better or worse) but approximately 4 years ago, the DOT in my state released data pertaining to accidents with injuries. Distracted drivers caused 4 times (400%) more accidents with injuries than drunk/impaired drivers.
