Epstein's Victims Are Making Their Own List

My thoughts exactly! Like the woman from the federal reserve who was fired. If she filled out the paperwork in a way that equaled fraud, show a focking picture of it.

Probably a good idea, but mine are held in a taxable account & for reasons I won't go into, I'll have to wait till later in the year if I choose to take some off the table.

Wall Street isn't impressed with the plan to break up of Kraft Heinz. Down 70% since the merger was completed 10 years ago. Talk about a marriage made in hell. Quote of the day in yahoo comments. Old Man Sage: They combined promising to make money & value. Now they split promising to make money & value. See the problem?

Stock Market bubble - will crash

Article title: U.S. Stocks Are Now Pricier Than They Were in the Dot-Com Era This isn't true. Dot-Com Era bubble as measured by the S&P 500 PE ratio peaked at 46 in December 2001. That ratio currently stands at just under 30.

The companies responsible for a large % of the S&P 500's gains may be more concentrated than ever, but the current PE ratio of 30x (while far higher than the historical average of 15) isn't near the highs of 2001 2009 & even 2020. https://www.multpl.com/s-p-500-pe-ratio
  9. Have you ever considered that with the economy that exists today, there aren't enough living wage jobs to support the number of people in our country ? I believe that's a big part of the problem, but it's something most people don't like to discuss. I started paying attention to that idea when I read an article in 2005. The gist of it was this. (Worldwide) In 1980, there was 1 living wage job created for every 3 children born. 25 years later, it was down to 1 job for every 16 children born.
  10. Who is going to pay for all these 'additional investments' & is there any guaranteed ROI ?
  11. If it's only a short term fix, what's the long-term fix ? IOW, if having a NG presence isn't for you or the mayors of these cities, what are you going to do to address it ?

Over $41 WOW! Very thankful that I went on a 1964 JFK 1/2 dollar buying spree in 2017. The downside.........Inflation Store of Value: Gold and silver are considered tangible assets, meaning they have intrinsic value. As inflation erodes the purchasing power of paper money, investors buy gold and silver to maintain their wealth. Hedge Against Currency Devaluation: When the value of a country's currency decreases due to inflation, these precious metals become more attractive as a way to protect against this loss in value. Historical Precedent: Periods of high inflation, such as the 1970s, have historically coincided with significant increases in the prices of gold and silver.
  13. I'll assume your concerns are the same as the DC mayor. That Trump's crime fighting measures will unfairly impact criminals. https://babylonbee.com/news/dc-mayor-warns-trumps-crime-fighting-measures-will-unfairly-impact-criminals But seriously, how long have we been hearing about the violence/murders in Chicago ? Answer: A long focking time. Finally, we have a President who is willing to make a serious attempt to begin cleaning up the mess. Democrat mayors & people like you hate this for 2 reasons. 1: Trump 2: If it succeeds in making the cities in question safer, it's an admittance that years of democratic governance have failed to address it.

  18. I tried to find out, with no luck. Even if they aren't made available in boys locker rooms/bathrooms in all districts, the fact that the state insists on supplying them free of charge because of period poverty is outrageous.

  21. Obesity is celebrated, why not stupidity ? This is worse in states like Minnesota, because of the disproportionate number of Somali that end up here (1 of 3) The results have been very predictable. The Minnesota DOE has been tweaking the standards required for graduation down (Large Hmong/Somali Population) for decades. While more students are graduating, a significant number are not reaching grade-level proficiency in math and reading. For example, in the class of 2023, only 36.3% could do grade-level math. Minnesota ACT scores continue to decline, and student performance on national assessments is at its lowest point in 30 years. Some reports indicate that nearly 42% of 10th graders are not reading at grade level.

  23. With the local add-ons, prepared food tax @ 8.40% in Mankato Minnesota last I checked. Just looked at a bill from cub foods. Candy is taxed, but it varies by brand/ingredient. Non-taxable items (exempt from tax as "food") Includes flour: If an item contains flour as an ingredient, it is not considered candy and is generally not taxed. For this reason, a Kit Kat bar is not taxed, while a Snickers bar is. I'm sure this is to protect farmers. Minnesota DFL stands for the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party Minnesota would be higher on the list if they included things like this. https://www.twincities.com/2019/08/20/many-minnesota-cities-collect-too-much-in-building-fees-study-says/ And of course there's all kinds of soda taxes. I think most states/cities charge this. Penn & Teller explain the hypocrisy far better than I ever could.
