Ex-WaPo reporter doubles down on post wanting health insurance executives dead: 'It's natural to wish'
easilyscan replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
5 or 6 years ago, I decided to look at the contributions from the private sector made to a very liberal female senator from my home state. She's always been outspoken regarding her negativity towards both health insurance companies & pharmaceuticals. I wasn't surprised to see that she accepted contributions from both. She never misses a chance for political grandstanding relating to these two sectors, & knows that most of her constituents (democrats) will be ignorant enough to believe she's really fighting for them. Her behavior is perfectly described in a quote from Thomas Sowell, & you can apply this to all Democrat politicians. When you want to help someone, you tell them the truth, when you want to help yourself, you tell them what they want to hear. -
Not that long ago, players tackled like that all the time. It's what they were taught, take out the legs. Guys like Antoine Winfield come to mind.

When you mentioned Celsius in the past, I thought you were referring to the energy drink company. Yeah, I should've known you wouldn't mention that Company in a cryptocurrency thread. Anyway, good to see that the bastard is going to spend time behind bars. Alexander Mashinsky was born in 1965 in the Soviet Union to a Jewish family. His family obtained permission to leave the country in the 1970s and later moved to Israel.

Muslim Although I'm not sure if Jon Runyon should be the judge in this case. Talk about a vicious helmet to helmet hit! And he wasn't even penalized

Biden-Harris administration supporting minor transition
easilyscan replied to Frozenbeernuts's topic in The Geek Club
No time to read the entire thread right now, so apologies if someone already mentioned this. Also, I'm borrowing this from someone here at the forum who stated this quite a while back. Wish I knew who it was so I could them credit. Amazing that Joe Biden thinks minors can make decisions like this, but 18-21 year olds couldn't understand the student loan papers they were signing. For my part, I'd add the fact that people can join the military at age 18, but can't have a beer or a cigarette until age 21 because they say the brain isn't fully developed yet. -

Illegal immigrant charged in cheerleader's murder 'knew what he was doing' despite latest claim

As they say in Minnesota, all are welcome here. Diversity is our strength. -
If it had to be one, I'd say Tracy. Because he's on such a terrible team, & last week he only out-carried Singletary 9-7 Tracy ceded the start to veteran backfield mate Devin Singletary, who logged carries on the Giants' first two plays from scrimmage. However, the rookie got in on the act with a seven-yard run on the fourth play and eventually capped off that opening drive with a one-yard touchdown run. The fifth-round pick did see his overall opportunities stagnate for the second straight game, however, with Tracy recording his second consecutive nine-carry total and outpacing Singletary by just two touches.

Jeudy doing well, Chubb not so much. -
Did a buy/write on GAP shares today. Bought 300 @ $25.85 then sold 3 June 20, 2025 $30 call contracts @ $2.44 Others that did well for me today.... Tesla, first solar, CROX, & SOXL.... those that didn't do well...FUTY & OKLO Tesla is @ $357 up approximately $100 since Trump was elected. No real fundamental reason for it, but I'll let it ride. In the crypto area, MicroStrategy is down around $90 since bitcoin met up with 100 K & pulled back.

Florida woman sentenced to life in prison for zipping her boyfriend in a suitcase for hours until he died
easilyscan replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
I think the lesson here is to never agree to play a game called "hop in a suitcase" especially if you're small enough to actually fit inside. -
Carolina has improved offensively over the past 2 weeks. They played Kansas City and Tampa Bay weeks 12-13 Team defense scoring varies by league, but in mine, those two only scored 7 & 8 points against them. The Cowboys D did very well week 13, 26 points, but that was against the imploding Giants. Hopefully they'll be more replies coming up.

What do you think of Hunter in this video?

The definition of a cry for help. -
I guess I'd go with KC @ Cleveland. Winston has been known to throw a lot of INT's 2nd choice would be the Chargers How well the Broncos D does against the Browns at home tonight could give you an idea of how the Chiefs will do at Cleveland in a couple weeks.
