    Another Import Success Story *Minnesota*

A lot of unexpected shite came up this week, so I have to make it brief. What I resent most, is the fact that there's no transparency regarding the fiscal impact for one state (in this case Minnesota) absorbing a ridiculously disproportionate number of Somali. I think I did an adequate job of pointing this out in comment # 13. The fact that the vast majority of those who partook in the daycare fraud of 2017-2023, & the feeding our future debacle in 2020, were almost all Somali refugees that we welcomed into the state with open arms and checkbooks, fuels the flames of my distain for those people. Even worse, is the fact that they tell naïve Minnesotans, that while the initial costs are high, these people turn out to be a huge positive for the State in the long term. This is BS to the nth degree. If that was truly the case, wouldn't other states who receive a disproportionately low number, complain that they aren't getting a fair shake ? I've never heard of that, have you ?

  11. Not going to touch on the tariffs because I'm not educated on them. As for states intentionally gouging tourists, let's just say I've never been a big fan. If you lived in Minnesota your entire life like I have, you'd know that the Democratic Party has never been satisfied with being middle of the road when it comes to taxes/fees. They want to be top five, because they say that contributes to a high quality of life in the state. That's BS. It's a high quality of life for those dependent on government programs. With that out-of-the-way, why on earth would you come up with something like this ? knowing there's a chance a family who was planning a vacation somewhere in the upper Midwest this July, could run across this article & say, I guess we'll go to Wisconsin, or South Dakota instead, because they're not coming up with new ways to gouge visitors even more than they have in the past ?
  12. I'd bet my last dollar that the city Council member(s) who came up with the idea is/are all DFL'ers (democrat farmer labor) Minnesotans in the know just refer to them as dumb for lifers. I give you governor Tampon Tim Walz & rest my case.

    Will Liberals defend Big Pharma?

This won't happen. I've owned shares of Eli Lilly since 2008. Their breadwinner has been insulin, & more recently, fatty drugs. They've already lowered the price of insulin substantially. Eli Lilly has lowered the price of its insulin products in recent years. In March 2023, the company announced a 70% price cut for its older insulin products, like Humalog, and also capped out-of-pocket costs at $35 per month for those with commercial insurance or no insurance. This move was part of a larger effort to make insulin more affordable and accessible for people with diabetes.

  22. https://www.keyc.com/2025/05/09/dfl-poci-caucus-several-social-policies-non-negotiable-time-draws-short-budgeting-window/ An example of how a typical retarded DFL'er hopes to find the funds to continue these programs. The Minnesota Senate Tax Committee approved a bill Thursday morning that would impose the first “social media tax” in the nation. Just one of many provisions that add up to about $365 million in new taxes over the next two years. Sen. Ann Rest (DFL), chair of the Senate Tax Committee, told one tax committee member, “You won’t pay one dime” for the social media tax because it will be imposed primarily on big corporations that mine data from Minnesotans through social media. “You have to be really wealthy or a multi-national corporation or Elon Musk to complain about this bill,” she argued, ticking off a couple of standard talking points. https://www.americanexperiment.org/dfl-deficit-dfl-controlled-senate-pushes-365-million-in-new-taxes/
  23. That's true. Rachel Maddow said she is “worried” that Donald Trump returning to the presidency could mean she might wind up in “camps” intended to house illegal immigrants. The MSNBC primetime host told CNN on Monday that she was “worried about the country broadly if we put someone in power who is openly avowing that he plans to build camps to hold millions of people, and to ‘root out’ what he’s described in subhuman terms as his ‘enemy from within.'” Maddow added: “For that matter, what convinces you that these massive camps he’s planning are only for migrants? So, yes, I’m worried about me — but only as much as I’m worried about all of us.”
