The scene in the bar is beyond description. Jenny Wright was so effing cute! Is a first edition DVD of Bad Boys with Sean Penn valuable ?

I blew it off because it was a ridiculous comparison. Especially when you consider the fact that you're an Anti-chiro, Are you an Anti-dentite as well

if you had 10k to invest in something

Fidelity MSCI Utilities Index ETF (FUTY) If the shite ever really hits the fan, & the government can't just print money & distribute it to people, those people would make adjustments. As hard as it would be for some of them, they'd give up that cell phone, broadband, Wi-Fi, cable/streaming services, etc. & say I want to be warm in the winter, cool in the summer, & have lights @ night.

    Social Insecurity

What would you have done if you were one of them ? I'll admit you brought up an interesting point regarding the contribution rate change in 1983. I would very much like to hear how that's their fault, & not the blame of Biden and others who decided to tax it. Maybe this is what you're getting at ? I can't find the file/folder on my computer right now, but I'm sure I remember reading an article that said the reason they were able to pass Social Security reform in 1983, was because those that would be affected were 13 years old at the time. Maybe that's you ? I'd honestly love to hear why you feel strongly enough to call boomers losers. It's certainly possible I'm missing something. Regards

That surprises me coming from you. One of the most ignorant statements I've ever heard.

    Social Insecurity

You're right, there was another promise as well. From day one, social Security benefits were supposed to be explicitly excluded from federal income taxation. (A revision was issued in 1970, but it made no changes in the existing policy.) ex·plic·it·ly in a clear & detailed manner, leaving no room for confusion or doubt. That changed in 1983. Because both sides of the political aisle refused to stop dipping into what @ one time was a real surplus, by 1983 congress decided to tax up to 50% of benefits for individuals who had a certain amount of other retirement income. 10 years later in 1993, they decided to change that to 85% of benefits. The lowlife motherfockers have yet to at least find the decency to adjust those levels of income for inflation. Your boy Joe Biden voted in favor of the taxation both years.

It's a Ponzi scheme, & the so-called trust fund contains nothing but IOUs. To put that in layman's terms, every month that inflow's are smaller than outflows (which has been every month for a long time) the SS administration presents the US treasury with one of those IOUs, & since the US treasury is already broke, they have to issue more debt to cover it.

  11. Don't eat that many eggs, so no big deal. Food is one of those things you can still get at a reasonable price if you watch the ads & shop around. Bought just under 11 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts for $24 at cub food last night. Things like homeowners insurance, property taxes, healthcare insurance, etc. are the ones to keep an eye on. They'll all be going up as they have been for decades. Homeowners insurance is the worst. It's one of those things people would be wise to study closely. Especially PPOP coverage. (personal property on premises)
  12. Bell 206 helicopters were manufactured primarily at Bell Helicopter's Mirabel, Quebec plant. Some components were also manufactured at other locations, including the Bell Helicopter Textron Canada plant in Mirabel, Quebec. The main assembly plant & final delivery location was in Mirabel, Quebec. Those damm Canadians
  13. Good job. Minnesota is like a lot of other states. The liberals in the big cities like Minneapolis, St Paul, Duluth, Rochester, etc. make it look as if the entire state is whacked, but it's better once you get away from those areas. My gut tells me people are finally figuring out what the DFL is all about. In 2017, we had huge fraud with the Somali population in the daycare industry. In 2020, that same group of people committed the largest fraud in the nation relating to feeding our future. The DFL blocked a Republican-backed bill to increase transparency in the attorney general’s office by making more information about business conducted by the attorney general available to the public. The attorney generals name is Keith Ellison, he's a Muslim & many figure he was intentionally asleep at the wheel when the feeding our future fraud was taking place. https://alphanews.org/democrats-block-ellison-oversight-bill-following-release-of-feeding-our-future-audio/

Man walks in on male prostitutes reading to kids

By admitting you wouldn't take your kid to it, you absolutely are saying you're against drag queens, or at least having drag queens read to your children, & I respect that. I'm not sure how you come to the conclusion that me stating children's story hour at the library is fine, but there shouldn't be a specific type of person doing the reading is crying and whining about it incessantly/flipping out ? Regarding the last question. It bothers me because it's wrong, and I believe these parents are harming the children. I believe that deep inside, you agree, you made that perfectly clear when you said you wouldn't take your own children to an event like that. Similar to those parents who take their children to these events, I believe at one time you had moral convictions, but have allowed society to repress/erase them over the years through conditioning.

The fact that you think children's story hour at the library (regardless of whether or not you would have your own child attend) should be open to all types, weirdos included, does tell me something about you. By calling them weirdos, you're admitting somethings wrong here, but for whatever reason, you can't/won't admit it. A quote by G.K. Chesterton seems to fit "Tolerance is the virtue of men who no longer believe in anything” It suggests you're one of those that has/had strong convictions or beliefs @ one point, but society has conditioned you to repress those feelings when it comes to subjects like this. Another quote (from of all people) Bill Maher, fits too. "Political correctness is the elevation of sensitivity over truth"

The question remains the same fellas. Why does it have to be anything more than children's story hour at the library ? Why does it have to be a specific type of individual reading stories to the children ?

Did you really compare taking an 8 year old to a chiropractor to taking him to drag queen story hour at the library ? WOW

Man walks in on male prostitutes reading to kids

I really don't think free-speech is the issue here. Children's story hour at local libraries is wonderful, but I see absolutely no reason it has to be drag queen story hour. If you or anyone else believe otherwise, I'd love to hear the reason(s)

Wait a minute...... are there some of you here that don't believe this goes on in the US ? Not sure if they have similar events at schools in Minnesota, but they've had this filth in public libraries for years. AI Overview Drag Queen Story Hour events are offered at Minnesota libraries, including in St. Paul and Minneapolis. These events involve drag performers reading stories to children, often incorporating singing, dancing, and other theatrical elements. While they are designed to promote literacy, empathy, and acceptance of diverse expressions, they have also faced protests and criticisms. Efforts to ban Drag Queen Story Hour events and other LGBTQ-related content from public libraries are proliferating across the country. In Minnesota, legislators have introduced a bill that directly bans public libraries from hosting Drag Queen Story Hours. It mandates that they lose all state funding if they do. Bernie and AOC coming to my city

Pretty sure these 2 are proponents of MMT (modern monetary theory) Anything that is technically feasible is financially affordable. A government that creates its own currency can borrow in that currency & then pay off the resulting debt by creating more of it.
  24. I traveled about my country freely on Wednesday. Of course, unlike certain groups of people, I didn't speed excessively, my license plate tabs were up-to-date, I have auto insurance that's paid for & active, I didn't have blatantly illegal window tint, all my tail lights, brake lights, etc. were working, I don't have one of those car stereos with subs in the trunk that you can hear & feel 3 blocks away, I didn't assault anyone, & saving the best for last, I didn't text or call anyone. 2 calls came in while I was driving, but they weren't anything that couldn't wait, so I left the phone where it should be while you're driving, on the passenger seat. Had I been stopped by law enforcement for some other reason, I have a valid drivers license. It's not that hard people. Don't draw attention to yourself by being stupid, & LE will leave you alone.
