    NEW - WSIS #3: RB2 = B. Hall or A. Abdullah

Every metric favors Hall. Unless you're a militant contrarian, you have to go with him.

Thanksgiving: Dolphins at Packers - Week 13

Just decided to bench Tank Dell & play Waddle tonight. If history is any indicator, this should be very good news for Dell owners

I'm wondering how many FF teams sat Laporta to play Hill this week ? Fantasy football can be cruel.

Thanksgiving: Bears at Lions - Week 13

What I was hoping for when I decided to play the Lions defense this week. But I'm not going to celebrate yet. The Bears scored 11 points in the last 45 seconds against the Vikings last week.

    The Feds Know What's Best

Certainly sounds reasonable. Instead of the feds sending an EBT card loaded with $40 for every child during the summer, (much of which would probably be used on junk food) the state picks out nutritious food & instead provide families with 3 boxes of food per month rather than let families choose the meals themselves. One of the reasons the USDA denies the request is................................................ Iowa's proposal would require families to go to feeding sites to pick the boxes up. A course in my state, directly above Iowa, tampon Timmy approved free food year round, including during summer vacation. Why do we have to feed all the little bastards year around anyway ? https://www.keyc.com/2024/11/25/usda-denies-iowas-summer-ebt-proposal/

    Taysom Hill

Can't disagree with any of that. He was inactive for at least 2 of the games where he ended up with zero points, & injured early in another. If I was in a league that allows playing him at TE & he was available, I'd be on him like a hobo on a ham sandwich! I'd take a chance & plug him in the WR/TE flex spot & bench Tank Dell

    The Feds Know What's Best

I understand your point, but in this case it looks like one sector of government (the state of Iowa) had an idea that would be more efficient & beneficial than the plan from the USDA/federal government.

    The Feds Know What's Best

Nothing against the kids, I was just being a smart arse with that comment. No problem with taxpayers paying for school lunch for those families that are, for lack of a better word, poor. I only had a problem with it when they extended it to include all families (regardless of income) & made it year-round. Not sure if it's like this in all states, but that's the way it works in Minnesota.

Like you said, we've seen this before. He's the Christian Watson of tight ends. Play him, and he'll break your heart, bench him, and he'll do the same.

MNF Discussion: Ravens at Chargers - Week 12

Looks like I'll be getting on the Gus bus next week.
  20. I wish for the same thing every time this happens.
  21. Hard to think of anyone more selfish than these people. Born a male, at some point becomes mentally ill and believes he's supposed to be a female, then has the nerve to compete against biological females. Not an ounce of honor or integrity in any of these monstrosities.
  22. This has to be fake news. My governor told me all immigrants are law-abiding, hard-working people, and they're all welcome in our state. https://www.imagebam.com/view/MEXOSWV
  23. If anyone is in desperate need of an RB because of 6 teams being off this weekend, you could take a chance on Ameer. Abdullah is in line to lead the Vegas backfield Sunday against the Broncos, as Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports that both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) will be listed as doubtful. Advice: Nearly all of Abdullah's playing time this season has come on third downs or in hurry-up/comeback situations, but Reed reports that the 31-year-old is expected to start this Sunday. Abdullah scored a receiving touchdown after both Mattison and White got hurt in the Week 11 loss to Miami, taking 88 percent of snaps in the fourth quarter. Dylan Laube, a healthy scratch in recent weeks, also may be in line for an increased role this Sunday, and at least one of Sincere McCormick or Chris Collier figure to be elevated from the practice squad.

    Cryptocurrency

Appreciate the input. I'm curious as to why you'd recommend holding the asset, but not the company who owns a bunch of it ? I've heard people state the same thing regarding investing in gold. Better to hold the actual asset yourself, rather than owning it via a mutual fund, or ETF. Things could change quickly, but I hate to sell something that’s worked so well. MSTR one-year return is 755% while bitcoin is 163% If it ain't broke, don't fix it ? One thing that concerns me is the performance of MicroStrategy itself. The underlying business (sans the bitcoin holdings) hasn't been doing anything special for a long time. Lastly, the shares of MSTR only account for 1.67% of my taxable account. Luckily for me, my working/earning/saving years are past, & I'm not looking to get rich off crypto, just like the excitement of participating. Regards
