    Random Thoughts Week 15

Broncos Lions surprised me. Thought the game would be close. Speaking of the Lions, anyone who started Goff this week has to be whistling Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah out of their behind. DeMeco Ryans finally pulled his head out of his arse long enough to look at the statistics & realize that Singletary is the man. Only took him 15 weeks. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Taysom Hill was dropped when he missed week 14. Because of injuries, I needed someone for a PPR flex. Tried to get him Friday but someone had beat me to the punch. Picked up Antonio Gibson instead. Remains to be seen if that works out, but missing out on Hill hasn't hurt…..yet. Started Love over Mahomes in a ‘for fun only’ family league. Haven't embarrassed myself yet. Rachaad White continues to impress. What a value pick he was. Of course Mostert has turned out to be the ultimate value pick. 2 more TD’s on the ground today. Chuba Hubbard is also paying dividends. Green Bay - Tampa Bay looks to be the only possible shoot-out of the early games. The Bears backfield has been a total quagmire since Fields came back. TBC

    Week 16 All-Out Blitz (2023) ...

Full PPR I have Jonathan Taylor (@ Atlanta) & Devin Singletary (home against the Browns) rostered. Scenario A: Taylor is back for week 16, & Zack Moss is out. Would you consider Singletary over Taylor ? My guess would be a strong no. Scenario B: Both Moss & Taylor are active. Singletary or Taylor ? Both teams @ 8-6 If the playoffs started today, the Colts would be in, & the Texans out. (both have something to play for) Thanks

My Week 16 NFL Power Rankings

I had to look that up: An emerging threat in Florida and beyond is coming from a decades-old medicine developed solely for use in animals. The medication Xylazine, known on the street as “tranq” or “tranq dope,” has gotten the attention of both law enforcement and health officials because of its frequent use with the opioid fentanyl. I also ran across the following 'public safety alert' from the DEA. I've always found warnings like this highly amusing. As if the people on the street retarded enough to be using fentanyl, make regular visits to the DEA site to check for warnings https://www.dea.gov/alert/dea-reports-widespread-threat-fentanyl-mixed-xylazine

The Official Week 15 FU Thread

FU to the Redskins offense. The Rams defense isn't THAT good. Someone named Camaron Cheeseman just fumbled!
  10. As a resident in the once great state, I can vouch for that. Here's an illustration that came with my health insurance paperwork back in 2017. https://www.imagebam.com/view/MEQVKKM

Saturday Discussion: Broncos at Lions - Wk15

I certainly didn't expect this. If I was still into sports betting, I probably would've bet on the Broncos. That's why I quit a long time ago.

Saturday Discussion: Steelers at Colts - Wk15

I get what you're saying as well, but how is he supposed to be tackled ? Would be tackler can't do a horse collar, can't reach around & grab them by the helmet/face mask, can't aim for the midsection, as he could if the runner was coming towards him. If he catches him from behind, of course his body is going to land on the players legs. Once his arms slide down below the runners knees, it's going to trip up the runner & he'll fall forward. I don't like injuries either, but unfortunately, it's part of the game.

Maybe the NFL will outlaw tackling at some point ? Looks like they're moving in that direction.......
  17. Ridiculous they would even consider banning a perfectly legit tackle like this.

    Zamir White

For anyone like myself, who was in a pinch for a RB this weekend & didn't start Zamir, another possibility just arose. Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) ruled out for Week 15 Fri, Dec 15th 1:28pm EST By Ari Koslow Brian Robinson Jr. has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter) Fantasy Impact: The bye week was not enough time for Robinson to return from his hamstring injury as he missed practice all week. It should be Antonio Gibson leading the backfield with Chris Rodriguez mixing in on the early downs.
