Here's the release. The line I highlighted sure looks/sounds like bitter sarcasm. I'm guessing Jesse has Singletary rostered in a couple leagues Dameon Pierce to share backfield when healthy Fri, Nov 24th 2:22pm EST By Jesse Garcia Texans RB Dameon Pierce is going to share the backfield once he returns from his ankle injury, per Texans’ OC Bobby Slowik. (Source: Jon Alexander on Twitter ) Fantasy Impact: Pierce has returned to practice in full over the last few days and could be set to return after missing his third straight game. Devin Singletary has averaged five yards per carry with Pierce out, so it makes sense to have both running backs operate in a timeshare. Fantasy managers will need Pierce to find the end zone consistently to be a strong fantasy option once he returns.

Total net yards after 1 quarter 159-0

There's 500+ comments beneath the video. I read about 50 & they all showed outrage.

I was going to post the same question. My only thoughts are that since the Texans are in contention for their division, the coach should be smart enough to stick with the better back. The following shows that Singletary's YPC average is 33% higher than Pierce. The coach should exploit that until it no longer works. But will he ? Hats off to those who started JLO

Goff to Laporta worked incredibly well on the 1st drive. 2-38-1 Makes perfect sense to ignore him after that. Christian Watson personifies FF. Shows incredible talent in his rookie year, people draft him the following year, basically does nothing through 10 games, owners do the right thing (bench him) & he goes off.

Today they announced they're backing off on the asinine 1099-K reporting change that was part of President Biden's American Rescue Plan of 2021. Great news for people who use PayPal, Venmo, sell on eBay, etc. UPDATE 11/21/2023: IRS issues revised Form 1099-K reporting guidance & tax Fact Sheet. On November 21, 2023, the IRS issued Notice 2023-74 delaying the requirement for third-party electronic payment networks to report transactions over $600 to the IRS on a Form 1099-K, Payment Card & Third Party Network Transactions, until 2025. The $20,000 & 200 transactions thresholds remain in place until December 31, 2023, & will then decrease to $5,000 for the 2024 tax year. Note: The rules for reporting income are not changing. Anybody receiving taxable income through third-party networks must still track & report their taxable income. Read the IRS’s news release for more details. I'm all for going after tax cheats, but lowering the sales threshold from $20,000 all the way down to $600 was ridiculous & almost certainly influenced by the CPA lobby.
-
Correction: The threshold for calendar year 2023 is actually $20,000. That will drop to $5000 for 2024.
-
If you use one of the major mobile payment services, I'm almost certain those would be included. Thankfully, the change announced today, means as long as payments you receive for the calendar year are below $5000, you're OK. The original plan was to have that figure at $600 per year.

Love the rankings. As far as the top 8, the only change I'd make is 49ers #2 - Ravens #3 I think the Niners are the only team in the NFL that could stop the Eagles.

May 7, 2021 Jessica Alba’s Honest Company went public this week, with a valuation of $2.68B. LMAO. Right at the height of the zero interest rate/IPO bubble. Today it's trading at $1.60 per share with a market cap of 150 million. -
