    Welcome To Kensington

We Need Moar Common Sense Gun Laws!@#!

    Judge wearing a bowtie ? He probably dines on _ _ _ _ nightly.
  4. The country is already 37 trillion (70+ if you add current and future unfunded liabilities for SS and Medicare) in debt, so why sweat another 2.3 billion added to that. Look at it as if the US treasury (taxpayers) have a $70 trillion mortgage. They pay $1 million a day and the country is theirs after a mere 200,000 years.
  5. Straight from the horse's mouth. I’m worried about the country broadly if we put someone in power who is openly avowing that he plans to build camps to hold millions of people, and to “root out” what he described in subhuman terms as his “enemy from within” Again, history is helpful here. He's not joking when he says this stuff, and we've seen what happens when people take power proclaiming that kind of agenda. - Rachel Maddow

Darwin Award winners - July 4th edition

Nailed it. If memory serves, the tribes were against sports betting when the subject first came up, but wanted a guarantee of 100% control if/when it goes through. Currently, grocery and convenience stores can sell beer, but it can only have lower-alcohol content: 3.2 percent alcohol by weight or 4 percent alcohol by volume. Minnesota is the last state that has laws that create a need for 3.2 beer.

Too bad the children had to see it.
  8. At one time, there was an unspoken national initiative. It was called parenting. Sad that this has gone away in a substantial % of American households.

Happy One Year Anniversary of finding cocaine at The White House

  10. Happened upon an infomercial from hometitlelock.com last night. A little research showed me that it's not really insurance, only a 'guarantee' that it would never happen to you. The infomercial made it sound so easy. All they have to do is find a title & fill it in. They don't need your date of birth or SSN, just a notary stamp. If word got out that in a certain city, people were having their property stolen right out from under their nose, it wouldn't be a good selling point for people to move and/or stay there. Add it up, & I call 100% BS: Nothing more than a way to liberate people out of another $20.00 minimum per month.
  11. Why do you keep looking at it ?

Stock Market bubble - will crash

There's a silver lining to that. I was considering buying another home sometime in 2022. Because of that, I took a little bit off the table, and started taking all dividends in cash mid 2020. By November 2021, the ADB in my Fidelity cash account was about 128K. I made $1.05 in dividends that month, because the interest rate was 1- 100th of 1 percent. Today it's paying just under 5%, so at least your safe money is doing something for you.

Stock Market bubble - will crash

I'll drink to that! For me it's been long-term holdings in Apple, google, Nvidia, SOXL & a couple non-AI winners, First Solar, & Eli Lilly My defensive side is thinking AI is getting a little bubbly. Apple had been stuck in a range between $170 and $190 for about 2.5 years. In spite of huge share buybacks over that time, the top and bottom lines have been flat. Seemingly all it took to break out of that was an recent announcement regarding its AI strategy. (Apple Intelligence) up approximately $40 over the past month.

  17. I'll research that program when time allows. Just wondering why it would be referred to as............ Cory Alvarez, a 26-year-old Haitian national who was allowed into the U.S. via a controversial parole program that allows up to 30,000 migrants to fly in each month Found it: https://apnews.com/article/immigration-parole-trump-biden-latin-america-hungary-vietnam-cuba-venezuela-6deab463a9cc596b2cd1adc6443da787
  18. At 3:26, when Arsenio mentioned that Dice is jewish, it reminded me of a joke from Bob Eubanks. I heard it in of all things, a Michael Moore documentary about Detroit & the auto Industry. Had to research to make sure I wasn't dreaming it up. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098213/characters/nm0262275 You know why jewish women don't get AIDS? 'Cause they marry azzholes , they don't screw 'em!
