I know neither one is very desirable this week but I need to start one. Jags have new OC who is going to try to revamp the run game. Does anyone have any thoughts on which way he will go? He was Fred Jackson's OC in 2013 and 2014, along with CJ Spiller. Seems he favors a back that catches out of backfield which would point to Yeldon. Any thoughts? Another thing, in doing research I see the Jags held ivory to 28 yards on 26 carries last year. Why the heck did they pick him up after rendering him entirely useless in their game last year,

Smith in 6+ years was never deemed good enough to get more than 4 carries per game, even when injuries presented an opportunity. His only worth is possibly breaking a long TD, however he only did this when he was in as a brief change of pace. When DT's have been ready for him he did squat. Fantasy analyst are pointing to his snaps last week, but with all the snaps he barely got the ball. Barber is the man this week. Of course this analysis is from an owner who picked up Don Jackson a few weeks back.

I think the problem is that players can't compete properly playing 16 out of 17 weeks. Force game planning to rest players means less star players. I think the answer consists of two things: Get rid of Thursday games - teams are never ready to play. Add another bye week and end the wide spacing of byes. Do this by having half the teams take a bye in week 5 / half in week 6, Then repeat it in weeks 10/11.

Buffalo is playing in MIA likely without McCoy and their two top WR's. I am not sure how Buff expects to move the ball if MCcoy is out. My league gives big points for low Points Against numbers which makes me think the Dolphins DT is a sneaky good streamer play. Could also go Balt (missing Suggs and hurt elsewhere) vs. Rams. What thinks all you smart people out there?

I think Jackson got knocked out of the game. He was playing a bit part, but looked a little lost running routes. I picked him up hoping for lightning in the bottle next week. Doesn't look like it is going to happen. I can't see why they would change things up much. Montgomery is clicking. Next week Davis and Jackson each get 5 touches imo. Looking like Adams is really the #1 WR in GB. It's been trending that way for a while.

The Don Jackson hype is overdone? Knile Davis is 80% owned on Sportsline and Jackson is 5% owned. Knile Davis has never been one to get a playbook down quickly or he would have risen in his many chances in KC.

Congrats on being very right. Miami is not nearly as bad as people believe, nor is Pitt as good. . This week should be another good one for the Fins against a very ailing Buff offense.

We are talking about the same Langford who after starting 2 games last year was having the same "noise" being made about him.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Jackson will be the "main" back for Thursday's game against the Bears.

They just placed him on injured reserve. Probably safe to drop Lacy.

Martin re-aggravated his injury in practice and is out for Week 7. If you need a filler than Rodgers is your man. Just about guaranteed to have 20+ touches.

I concur, Jackson is the guy. GB has to start looking toward it's RB of the future, which isn't going to be Lacy or Starks or Knile Davis. I wouldn't play any GB RB this week, but next week starts the Don Jackson show.

Gurley 100%. Howard is simply Langford from last year. Gets two easy games right off the back and everyone thinks he is the next Gale Sayers. Langford was racking up 10 YPC the game he got hurt. I think Langford takes the job back after Howard averages 2 YPC the next 2 games.

Langford saved my season in his couple of starts. Without him going off I miss the playoffs. MY MVP would have to be Julio and 2nd Brandon Marshall. then a mix of Stafford, Newton and Eiffert. Only played Eiffert (No mandatory TE) 4 times and he scored over 20 points 3 of them. Still I loss in the playoffs by not playing Newton and Stafford in the right weeks.

We pay top 4 places in Super Bowl Tourney; the Top 4 places in overall points, free agent pool gets split by Top 10 weekly high scores, we also pay a token amount to the consolation tourney winner and the team with most points against. Keeps everyone interested up to the end. Only 2 teams have no winnings at all this year.

Robinson got me 15 in my PPR league, 2 above his forecast so i can't complain. Started L. Murray instead of Hightower which i will most likely be able to complain about. I still think Hightower falls flat on his face. Even the great mark Ingram had a bunch of "off' games when he was starting.

I expect a $20,000 fine and double secret probation. ODB will not be missing week 16.

My opponent went with Lacy instead of Woodhead to counter my benching of Cam for Stafford. Sorry i haven't lost yet, but if i do it will be because i didn't start Cam.

Cam wasn't an automatic start for me this year. Playing Stafford (48 pts) in Week 12 saved my season. If I played Cam(19 pts) instead I lose the game, the division and the bye and I would have been eliminated last week. Still it will be a tough one to chew if I don't come out ahead tonight. Stafford has actually let me down the last 3 years in week 15 with 6,12, and 13 points though i still made it to the big dance 2 of those years, only to lose.. I figure mean regression is in my favor. LOL. I just want the Lions to give Stafford time to throw, if they do the rest will take care of itsel

I couldn't see setting playoff brackets any other way. Top seed always plays the lowest seed.

Down 24. i have Stafford and Megatron. He has Cooks. I am really afraid of Calvin's injury situation. Part of me hopes he sits and i play Snead instead. Oh, and i have Cam on the bench or it would already be all but over.

I really like this option. Our league opened up waivers during playoffs for the first time this year, with the caveat that no player who was on a Week `13 roster can be picked up. Lucky for me as i had both Yeldon and Stewart go out.

Because without much effort they could make it much more user friendly.
