In two papers — published today in the journals Environmental Research Letters and Joule — Harvard University researchers find that the transition to wind or solar power in the U.S. would require five to 20 times more land than previously thought, and, if such large-scale wind farms were built, would warm average surface temperatures over the continental U.S. by 0.24 degrees Celsius. https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2018/10/large-scale-wind-power-has-its-down-side/ While about 90% of turbines are easily recyclable, their blades are not. They are made from fiberglass bound together with epoxy resin, a material so strong it is incredibly difficult and expensive to break down. Most blades end their lives in landfill or are incinerated. https://www.cnn.com/2023/05/28/world/wind-turbine-recycling-climate-intl/index.html -

Roger Goodell Says NFL Is Ready to Ban Controversial Hip-Drop Tackle
Baker Boy replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
Yes The problem is that these players are not in football shape. It is the fault of the CBA and the NFL. The CBA states that teams can only practice in pads 11 times during the season. There is a limit on how much practice and training you can do as a team. The NFL started playing three preseason games for money purposes which now has teams evaluating new players and sitting there starters. I believe at one time there were six preseason games. These are just a few of the reasons. -

Unfortunately, some of us don’t have the time to wade through the pages of backstabbing and bickering. That is why these situations occur. -

Do you believe that fossil fuels are the biggest cause of man-made global warming? The green new deal is increasing the temperatures of the world. It is a brilliant plan to obtain power and money and it is working to perfection, of course it had to bank on the ignorance of the human population. Book it you heard it here first.

These states will eventually regret this decision like all the sanctuary cities and states are regretting their decisions today. MMGW is a theory, not a fact. The MMGW Theory is being used for a massive global transfer of wealth and power. how stupid do you have to be to spend trillions of dollars on a theory?

It’s funny that you assume that everyone that boycotts Bud Light is Conservative. I think there’s a specific word for people that do this. -
