Two people that have no idea what "sneaker collectors" are all about trying to chime in. Sneaker collectors do not wear the shoes they collect because it devalues the shoes just like any other collectible. The original shoes are now going for $9000 a pair.

When you don’t prosecute the crimes, and you change felonies to misdemeanors, your crime rate will go down. -
Patrick Mahomes' 'unpleasant' wife didn't tip hotel restaurant staff 'for almost a week,'
Baker Boy replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
It looks like I upset the tipping bullies on the forum. Unfortunately, tipping was set up for people that don’t make minimum wage. What I don’t understand is why my tipping who, how much, and where I tip bothers them so much. -

Now the tipping bully is telling non-tippers they shouldn’t go to restaurants. I tip for service, but I don’t judge people that don’t tip at all. BTW: I know a couple of people who " depend on tips" that made six figures last year, and they took that money from people that make five figures. -

Are you lonely up there on your pedestal? Tipping has nothing to do with character. This is just another lie spread by the tipping bullies. I believe you actually think you have a higher character than somebody that doesn’t tip. Good for you. -
I find it amusing that 1000 pair of sneakers can bring so much commotion and TDS.

It is funny that you believe the amount you tip is a reflection on your character. The tipping bullies have you brainwashed buddy. -
Gil Scott-Heron (1949-2011) Gil Scott-Heron was a New York City–based writer, spoken word performer, poet, and musician whose 1970s songs are known for laying the groundwork for rap music. If you have heard the phrase "The revolution will not be televised," you have heard the words of Gil Scott-Heron. While both true and timeless, it's the title of Scott-Heron's poem that depicted the disconnected relationship between television/media representation and demonstrations in the street. He has been called the "godfather of rap," and his music and words have been sampled by rappers like Common and Kendrick Lamar. Even if you haven't heard of him, his work may sound more familiar than you think. One of his most famous pieces is "Whitey on the Moon" where he criticizes America's interest in space taking precedence over the well-being of African American citizens.
