And why do you believe that homeowners can’t do this? There is also an option for a reverse mortgage on homes. So you can spend the equity in your home if you want to.

Has the weather/climate changed where you live?
Baker Boy replied to wiffleball's topic in The Geek Club
The climate where I live changes every day. Over the last two decades, the world has spent tens of trillions of dollars on stopping global warming and it hasn’t had any effect. How long are you gonna keep following these bozos? "I can very confidently assert, there is NO climate emergency." “As much as it may upset many people, my message is the planet is NOT in peril. … atmospheric CO2 and methane have negligible effect on the climate. The policies government have been implementing are total unnecessary and should be eliminated. So far, [we] have totally misidentified what is the dominant process in controlling the climate, and all of the various models are based on incomplete and incorrect physics. The dominant process, is “the cloud-sunlight-reflexivity thermostat mechanism. Clouds are all bright white, and they reflected 90% of the sunlight back into space making them the most crucial yet most overlooked aspect of the climate system. Two-thirds of the Earth are ocean. The Pacific Ocean alone is half the Earth. The average cloud cover for the Earth is 67%; about 50% over land and 75% over oceans. I claim that the above conspicuous properties of clouds are the missing part of the puzzle. I can very confidently assert, there is no climate emergency." Freshman Dem proposes bill to remove Statue of Liberty in protest of GOP's 'bigoted' immigration law

I guess I should’ve said close the border to illegals. -
The reason it's hard to place a specific number on the life span of EV batteries is that it can vary greatly based on factors an EV owner can control and several factors they can't. In general, you can expect the lifespan of an EV's battery pack to be at least 10 years or 100,000 miles.

Yes they do. The number you should be looking at is the ratio of debt to GDP. Covid shot it up and Biden is carrying it along when it should have gone down after Covid.

I didn’t think you had any ideas and you know I am not about to go through thousands of pages of slap fighting to find what you believe. why would closing the border be a disaster? -
Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see

What do you think we should do about it, I believe the first thing we have to do is shut down the border right now. -
No, he always has more energy than Biden. It isn’t even close. I will repeat what planet do you live on. Trump has a lot more energy than you

What planet are you living on?

This response explains a lot.

This is a huge loss for the American people. Interest payments on the national debt were $475 billion in fiscal year 2022 — the highest dollar amount ever. Interest costs grew 35 percent last year and are projected to grow by another 35 percent in 2023.

Plagiarisms: Going all the way back to 1965, when he was a Syracuse University College of Law student, Biden lifted five pages of a law review for a legal report. “I was wrong, but I was not malevolent in any way,” he said when caught. In 1987, he was forced out of the presidential race when he was caught stealing lines of British politician Neil Kinnock’s speeches. Maybe worse, he also mimicked some of Kinnock’s mannerisms in a style a reporter at the time called “creepy.” Political author Richard Ben Cramer said Biden knew what he was doing and even had a video of Kinnock to study. Also during that presidential run, he stole lines from Robert F. Kennedy, according to a New York Times review. During his presidential run in 1968, RFK said, “It measures everything in short, except that which makes life worthwhile. and it can tell us everything about America except why we are proud that we are Americans.” Nearly 20 years later, Biden said, “That bottom line can tell us everything about our lives, except that which makes life worthwhile. And it can tell us everything about America, except that which makes us proud to be Americans.” That year, he also borrowed from President John F. Kennedy’s inaugural address when he fashioned a line off JFK’s famous phrase “Each generation of Americans has been summoned to give testimony to its national loyalty.” According to the New York Times's Maureen Dowd, Biden said, “Each generation of Americans has been summoned.” Biden in 1987 also pulled a phrase from then-Sen. Hubert Humphrey. Wrote the New York Times's Dowd, “At the Democratic National Convention in 1976, Mr. Humphrey, then a senator from Minnesota, declared: ‘The ultimate moral test of any government is the manner in which it treats three groups of its citizens: first, those who are in the dawn of life, our children; second, those who are in the shadows of life, our sick, our needy, our handicapped, and those, third, in the twilight of life, our elderly.’ Senator Biden's version offered ‘a nation noble enough to treat those at the dawn of life with love, those at the dusk of life with care and those who live in the shadow of life with compassion.’” In 2000, according to the New York Post, Biden was caught pulling lines from a federal judge’s opinion for an article in the Harvard Journal on Legislation about his Violence Against Women Act. During his 2020 campaign, the Washington Post said Biden pulled policy platforms and wording from several groups, including a word-for-word proposal from the XQ Institute. He also used whole sections of Bernie Sanders campaign plans in their joint unity task force paper, said the 2020 Trump campaign. For his 2020 “Build Back Better” theme, Biden adopted the slogan from former President Bill Clinton’s “Building Back Better.” https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/seventeen-times-biden-lied-plagiarized-and-exaggerated/ar-AA1lpd4C

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy is returning to Dallas for the 2024 season. McCarthy has been the coach of the Cowboys for the past four seasons, leading them to three straight playoff appearances. Dallas has one playoff win over his tenure, leading to questions of McCarthy being on the hot seat after a disappointing loss to the Packers in the Wild Card round. However, Schefter reports that McCarthy will be back to coach the Cowboys in 2024, which is also the last season of his contract. Jerry Jones seems to be running it back with key coaches and players, at least for another season before McCarthy’s contract is up for renewal. 5h ago Source: Adam Schefter

Most of the liberals I have met, do not have much of a sense of humor. They are working hard to remove humor out of our culture. No joke: Feds are banning humorous electronic messages on highways https://apnews.com/article/ban-humorous-messages-electronic-highway-signs-3c7b0d11475d2b255f7edd197af771cc#:~:text=Administration officials said overhead electronic signs with obscure, they can be misunderstood or distracting to drivers. -

Now you’re speaking for all Trump supporters. Some of you posters are the most most prejudicial people I have ever had contact with. Prejudice Prejudice refers to the beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and attitudes someone holds about a group. A prejudice is not based on personal experience; instead, it is a prejudgment, originating outside actual experience. -

You said you were reporting what you read, all I am asking for is a link to what you read. Of course you don’t have one because you were lying. you really aren’t very good at this.
