I've seen a lock of mock drafts having the Bears take Bowers with their second pick. I don't really get the reasoning behind spending that high of a pick on a TE when they already have Kmet.

If they can beat Illinois this weekend then they should be in. I don't know how Wisconsin is still considered a lock by some though.

The men's attendance has been a problem for a while now. They need to make some major changes at Carver to get attendance back up.

I've never seen a team have the options that the Bears have this offseason. They have the #1 overall pick even though they have a starting QB on the roster. They have the 9th overall pick. They have a QB with trade value. So many things they can do.

The Iowa women have had a pretty good following for a while now. They were a great team even before Clark. You'd have to go back 17 years before you see them win less than 19 games. Actually, Iowa basketball in general has been pretty damn good. I honestly don't know. I've read so many different trade scenarios the last month. A minimum of an early 2nd round pick is what I would require.

My daughter plays and my wife coaches high school girls basketball. You're absolutely right at that level. I'm strictly talking about at the college level though. Watching Iowa play and move the ball is enjoyable to watch.

I think you're trying to make this something it's not. If Poles thinks that Williams is the QB that will take the Bears to the next level then he should draft him. I don't think Williams is the answer. That's all.

I like Poles. If he thinks Williams is the right pick then I'll support it. If I were him I would trade that pick. I'm not a GM and for good reason though.

I miss the Lovie Smith era. I would have loved to see Fields on those teams.
