Muzzleloaders are still very popular for deer hunting. Terrible for self defense though, which defeats the purpose of the 2nd amendment.

If you’re saying an AR-15 doesn’t serve a useful purpose in society then you are saying all semiautomatic rifles don’t serve a useful purpose in society.

It's a people problem. It always has been and always will be.

I have not but I have a standard .22 rifle. My point is that the AR-15 .22 rifle is not any more powerful. It's still just a .22 rifle and is used for plinking and shooting small game. It just looks intimidating like a military type rifle.

More people are killed with hand guns. We all know this. Also, that wasn't the argument I made earlier. Why is a .22 rifle perfectly fine but the rifle I linked to earlier so much worse? I never got a straight answer. For some reason a different gun with different caliber gets brought up.

I use to think that banning guns was the answer. I changed my stance on that over the years. I don't know many gun advocates that think there's one solution to the problem. I find gun advocates to be rather willing to work making improvements as long as it doesn't violate our rights. I've seen far too many anti-gun people say they want guns banned and that's the end-all-be-all solution.

I saw that and it's a shame. That place use to be one of the top destinations. I vacationed there about 13 years ago and it was a dump.

Gun nuts are not a very large group. Plenty of normal gun owners, like many of us here, still find people stupid when they try to argue about guns. I am not a gun nut but it drives me crazy when I here people argue about "assault rifles."

Don’t buy LG or Samsung appliances. I do recommend both for TVs though.
