Higher prices on those poorly made products negates the one benefit they had, their cheap price. If you take away the one advantage they've had over other products then there is no reason to purchase them anymore. We all have other options to buy, what option does China have?

Sure, and the sky is not falling or going to fall. We're the USA, we no how to recover if things get bad. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Most of the people that struggle the most put themselves in that situation and then place the blame on others or the government. Be smart and we'll all be fine.

If you think things are going to get really bad, prepare for it. Lower your spending and put some money away. The constant complaining does no good. It's not healthy to get that worked up everyday over things you can't control.

We haven't really had decent leadership for a long time. Biden wasn't a leader. Harris was not going to be a leader. We keep electing the worse people.

I'm not placing blame on anyone. I'm asking if will get as bad as that. That time period was the worst economy I experienced as an adult.
