I don't think the far left or the far right can be reasoned with. That's the problem. The right instantly decided the shooter was a liberal and they went into full attack mode. They were wrong. Even Trump was dumb enough to do it.

I can agree with your point there. You would also have to hold all the other media networks accountable too. Fox, CNN, MSNC, talk show hosts... They all add to it.

If I were a black pilot, or any black professional, I would be upset with the DEI crap. All it's done is put doubt in the minds of the public. Now everyone is questioning whether you earned your position or not. That would bother me.

I don't have any issue with the race of a pilot. I'm just saying that I understand why people question it more now. DEI has put that doubt into people's heads. You use to be able to trust that the people hired were in their position because they were the best. Not as much now.

Not sure. The whole point is that DEI opens this all up to question now. That's the problem with it.

Pilot school is pass/fail. Just have to take off and land. Good to go.

You can't think of any reasons? Fewer flight hours would be one. Would you rather have a pilot that has a lot of experience or one that has very little?

Are the layoffs due to the economy?

I believe it's possible they hired less qualified people. By doing that it increases the odds of something going wrong. I don't see an issue with this line of thinking.

People on the right calling for war is just as bad.

All you have to do is comment on one of those posts and your timeline will be full of them. It's pretty bad.

Doesn't make it hateful. The man was very smart. He chose hi words wisely. The problem was, the people he debated wouldn't listen to all of those words. They only focused on the words that pissed them off.

Meh. I don't find it all that hateful. Socialism is one of the biggest threats to our country as well.

It wouldn't been just as bad, if not worse. Far too many people hated him.
