Once again, summer arrived in June.

I'd like to see that land go to the state and manage it as a public wildlife area.

There is no WWIII though.

I’ve been wanting to buy up farmland and turn it back to native prairie grass. Sooo expensive though.

Have you seen the new Predator movie on Hulu? It’s animated this time but I thought it was incredible. Has three storylines in different eras that are all tied together. The action scenes are great. I loved it. It got me so fired up I’m watching Prey now.

Last year was really bad in SW Iowa.

I thought it would be nice to have a dedicated thread on weather. We are getting into severe weather season and today is going to produce some pretty nasty stuff. The forecast has pretty much remained the same throughout the whole week for today which rarely happens. Schools are letting out early so people can be home safe before it hits. I have never seen this before in Iowa. Luckily I live close to my business so I can go home quick to take shelter if needed and I can get my employees there as well. Stay safe everyone.

I hate it. We need more public land, not less.

We've been pretty lucky here in Iowa this year so far. I saw a recent graphic that showed every thunderstorm and tornado warning in the US and there was almost nothing in Iowa. All the surrounding states had them but not us. Very strange.

Four different times I have been on the clock once I got back to my office from lunch. Some how picks get made while I'm gone for lunch a lot.

It's that point in the draft where I'm just swinging hard and hoping I hit a HR. Burden is a very talented WR but who knows what the Bear's offense is going to look like.
