If you are a business owner or work in a management position, have you been dealing with a lot of fraud lately? The past few months we have been dealing a lot with it. The scammers are pretending to buy a large item, like farm equipment. They mail a check that looks to be real from another business, using their actually banking information. They hope you deposit it right away and then they cancel the purchase shortly after and ask the have the funds wired back to them. They try to do this before your bank notifies you that the check is bad. Not only have we received these checks but they have even issued checks with our name and recently closed account.

We’ve already sued him and won but have no way of recovering the money. He doesn’t have any in his name. This isn’t his first time.

The check I got today looks legit. It’s for $33,500. I got a hold of the company whose name was on the check and they said it was fraudulent. It’s crazy how much of this happens. On top of that, I have an actual local customer that got a bunch of product from us and is refusing to pay. It’s over $300k and he’s got it protected in a way that I can’t collect the money or the product.

Too many nutjobs in this world.

Just like when I grabbed Hockenson, I am grabbing Mahomes before there is a run on QBs.

7.06 - QB Patrick Mahomes, KC

I needed to grab a TE before a run started and nothing was left. Love myself an Iowa TE.

6.07 - TE TJ Hockenson, MIN

This was a sketchy pick but I'm intrigued by Metcalf with Rodgers. This could be the pick that really separates my team from the rest this year. The steelers are a run first team but DK is still the WR1 and he has Rodgers feeding him the ball. Could be interesting.

5.06 - WR DK Metcalf, PIT

Adams still put up 1,000 yards on a bad team last year. I doubt he does any worse this year on the Rams. I think he's solid value in the 4th round.

4.07 - WR Davante Adams, LAR

After grabbing back-to-back RBs I decided to grab a WR. I went with to top one left on my list, MacConkey. I had drafted him late last year on some teams and he was great. Not only do I see him having a great season but I love saying his name, McCAHNkey.

3.06 - WR Ladd McConkey, LAC

Figured I sure up the RB position right away with Henry and then Jacobs. Feeling confident with them.

2.07 - RB Josh Jacobs, GB

Not a great start to round one. Pretty slow going.
