Wildlife management is the first step. Use controlled burns. Fix the focking homeless problem. Create fire breaks. Have a well funded wildfire prevention task force. There are plenty of things that can be done to help prevent the fires from happening and to stop the spread of them. California is not the only place where droughts happen but you see wildfires like this happen near as much other places.

This has been normal my whole life. It was normal for my parents and grandparents as well.

A lot of people should not be on the road at all. They are a danger to others.

Everyone needs to stop focusing on climate change and start putting more effort into preventative measures. The spread of these fires could have been prevented but they did nothing. That's on the people who run things there, which happen to be liberals. The blame would be on them just the same if they were conservatives.

The biggest issue is that they don't have the resources to treat the roads for snow and ice. All of our roads get treated before a storm comes to help prevent too much snow/ice coverage. We also have snow plows running at all hours. People even have their own plows for removing snow around town. It takes a pretty major storm to shut things down around here.

A truck will do the same thing. They are usually the ones passing people on the highway when conditions are terrible. I've been guilty of it myself, to be honest. I'm use to driving in it though.

I'm not sure it matters what they drive, they just don't have the experience driving in snow.

Good luck. No one knows how to drive in the snow down there. Stay off the roads.

I'm not a liberal and I think it's dumb. I am very interested in gaining Canada and Greenland though.

There's no need to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico. Seems like a waste of time.

I do have concerns that other countries will feel more threatened by all of this though. It could really increase tension with the rest of the world.
